Welcome to The Hacienda, a charming, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, Santa Fe style home located in the heart of Sonoma wine country.

Situated on a quiet dirt road in downtown Glen Ellen, The Hacienda is walking distance to fine dining, a gourmet supermarket, local bar, wine tasting and shopping. Enjoy the light filled rooms, artful decor, and casual comfort of this well loved home. The back yard is an enchanting terraced garden where you can rest on a chaise lounge, enjoy the natural beauty, and sip on a glass of chardonnay. There is a hot tub, children's play house, vegetable garden, grapevines, and a flower covered gazebo for outside dining.

Historic Glen Ellen was the home of writer Jack London. The Hacienda is only minutes away from the lovely hiking trails of Jack London State Park and surrounded by many fabulous vineyards. All of this makes The Hacienda a fabulous retreat for wine tasters, nature lovers, and all in need of restorative days of rest and relaxation.

The Hacienda also offers many extra vacation perks for those interested in taking advantage of them. There is a certified massage therapist on call, private chef services available, and there are even jewelry making classes for both adults and kids, guided hiking tours of Jack London State Park, artist studio tours, winery tours, cooking classes and much, much more. As owners we want to do all we can to make your stay an enjoyable, relaxing, and memorable experience of all the Sonoma Valley has to offer.

We stayed at The Hacienda for a family wedding. Fritz met us at the property and was kind enough to show us around and give us keys.There were six of us and the house was perfect for our needs. The decor, courtyard and other outside areas are charming. There are two very large bathrooms and three bedrooms, the master is huge. The kitchen was well stocked. And through one of the other reviews, I read that owner Carolyn is a massage therapist, so my daughter and I had massages that were wonderful. It was a great place to stay and we hope to return for a longer visit!

We stayed at this fun house with another couple for our 11th anniversary. The house is great, the location excellent, and Carolyn and Fritz are the best hosts! Walking distance to great dining and a darling store for all your needs. We highly recommend a massage package with Carolyn (the highlight of our stay) Close to everything, yet quiet and secluded...perfect to come back to and relax after a day of tasting! We will be back!

Great girls weekend getaway

My college friends and I had an amazing stay at the Hacienda. Carolyn & Fritz were very helpful and wonderful, thoughtful hosts. I highly recommend taking advantage of Carolyn's nearby Magical Massage treatments, we were all in heaven. We liked being walking distance from several restaurants and a nice market, and loved the outdoor space and hot tub to hang out. We hope to be back!

Wonderful place to stay

My friends and I just stayed here for two nights while we were in town for a wedding. The house was perfect! Very clean with more than enough space for the 6 of us. It was so relaxing to just sit outside a read a book while having coffee in the morning. It is also very centrally located and easy to walk to bars, restaurants and the supermarket. Everything was perfect and I hope to stay there again!
