Located on a 40+ acre private wooded point of land over a quarter mile from the main road, the Stone House sets into the side of a hill directly on pristine Star Lake. This is a tranquil spot where you can relax and get away from it all.

The Stone House property features a private dock with a tied-on floating dock, a fireplace, a car park, a terrace, and a private garage. The Stone House sleeps seven, has two full baths, a complete kitchen, living room with a large window seat and warming stone fireplace (stocked from a private wood shed just outside the house), and a private, covered terrace overlooking the lake. Enjoy the quiet, the ducks, the loons, the smell of a good fire.

Kayaking & canoeing on Star Lake & Oswegatchie River; local hiking too.

The Stone House is a beautiful and authentic Adirondack cabin that is on a fantastic piece of property on Star Lake. Rich has seen to every detail and even provided a comprehensive handbook over email that had lots of great info about the property and area.

While the house is rustic, the bathrooms are clean and the shower is stellar. The beds were comfortable and the sleeping porch was an experience for my friends on a chilly October night. The water and shoreline are perfect for swimming off the dock and it drops down to over 6 feet rather quickly.

Overall I would definitely recommend the Stone House and I hope to return soon.
