Our family recently spent 9 days at wonderful Tulemar in Manuel Antonio. The bungalow was located on the side of the mountain, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and surrounded by exquisite flora and fauna indigenous of this tropical area. Three types of monkeys, toucans, sloths, iguanas and lizards visit you daily with much entertaining behavior. The layout of the bungalow was spacious and kept immaculate with daily maid service. Laundry service is also included. Morning breakfast with exceptional vies, included with your stay at Cafe tulemar, is a wonderful way to begin each day of your vacation. The private beach is a gem and includes kayaking, snorkeling, boogie boards, walking trails with vistas, lounge chairs, beach towels, fresh water shower, beach bar and beach attendant will make you think twice about leaving the grounds for other activities.
The attentive service given by the owners, management, concierge service and property staff is above and beyond. They will provide recommendations and all services as needed. As with any vacation, it is the people that make it unforgettable, thus being the case with the Tulemar bungalow.
This is a wonderful vacation for people of all ages seeking adventure, beautiful coastal vistas, jungle flora/wildlife and tranquil ambiance.
Mauricio will help you select top activities and restaurants, which offer top quality. Our favorite activities were the park tour by Josue, waterfall repelling, zip line, white water rafting by los amigos del rio on the saguare, horseback riding in the mountains, hiking Tulemar trails, kayaking and snorkeling. All were exciting and fun. We enjoyed lunch at the beach bar at Tulemar, Grand Escape in Quepos and Marlins outside of the park. For reasonable dinner faire and fun atmosphere be sure to go to Agua Azul and Grand Escape with hostess Marsha. For exceptional dinners be certain to go to Kapi Kapi for incredible food, ambiance and service. Ronnies serves fresh grilled seafood, fun tropical drinks -Sangria and Coco loco and offers a beautiful sunset. Hope you are there for Monday night at La Hacienda with music by Fuzzy Rojas and don't miss out on the brie quesadillas!
Pura Vida!
