Martha's Vineyard is considered to be one of the most unique vacation spots in the world! The beaches are superb, and the cultural activities are many and varied to interest all ages and personalities. West Tisbury is centrally located on the Island to facilitate your visit to any and all of the beaches and other sites on your vacation calendar. The town dates back to the early 1600's and is famous for Alley's General Store, the Agricultural Fair in August and the weekly farm and produce stalls in the village. Charles Neck Way is on one of the access roads to Long Point, a beach and conservation refuge on over 100 acres! You can swim in the ocean, fish, enjoy long walks along the shore and explore the Great Pond on a kayak.
