It was our first experience renting a house for a vacation and we loved everything. This house was perfect for us: designed and furnished with taste, clean and very comfortable. Beds were perfects, the kitchen had everything we needed and more, the pool was clean. We have had a problem with the hot water but the location agency reacted very quickly to fix it. My only regret is to have not stayed enough time.
The only issue was the internet that was perfect before 8:00am and after 5:00am but in between was not working well. Later though, we found out that this situation was the same in all the different places in the Yucatan peninsula.
Merida is a lovely city. People are nice, happy, helpful and well educated. We will come back in this part of the Yucatan and explore it more in depth. On the other hand we will not go back to Riviera Maya and Cancun where there is too many tourists and nothing special beside the beach.
