An Exquisite arts and crafts designer built cottage, just up from Camden Maine's famed Laite Beach. Camden rests at the foothills of Mount Battie and is one of the most beautiful harbors in Maine. The windjammers set sail several times a day and it is a buzz of activity all summer long, filled with great shopping experiences and wonderful restaurants at every turn. The Camden Opera House has several fantastic events with live entertainment from Rock and Roll to Classical Music and live Theatre.

'Stone's Throw' is the guesthouse to Boulder Cottage which is a fabulous pink turn of the century victorian, ergo the name Stone's Throw.

It's also just a stone's throw to town!

The Stone's Throw was a perfect fit for our needs. We are very particular about the places we stay and this place definitely passed. The cottage was very clean, nicely furnished and had an incredible kitchen and bathroom.
You could walk to town if you'd like but we drove to save time. There was however a very cute park by the water that was an easy walk down the hill.
This is definitely a property that I would recommend to friends.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

GREAT PLACE

We spent 10 days at the cottage and it was perfect. Beautiful cottage, very comfortable and the owner was just great. We will definitely return. The shower is to die for and the cottage is very quiet. Open the windows to hear the trees and feel a great breeze! I recommend this to all couples for a romantic, quiet get-away. The property was beyond the description here! The nearby dining was superb - Francines, Primo, Atlantica, we never had a bad meal!
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

This charming cottage was perfect for us! It was just a short distance from the center of town and easy access to other areas and activities. The cottage has been beautifully restored and has many amenities. We would recommend this rental to anyone.

Amazing space in gorgeous town...

My wife and I just got back from spending at night at this amazing space. It is truly beautifully designed, super comfortable, and situated in a perfect location for a quiet and relaxing trip. Town is a short walk, and an incredible beach and gorgeous park are less than a minute's walk down the street.

It was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed and will be returning on our next trip to the area.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
