We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in beautiful Aix. Your apartment is perfectly located in the center of all the action, and yet through the gates is an incredibly private and serene environment. My husband and I decided it was not necessary to rent a car, as everything from shops, to groceries, to wonderful restaurants, was just steps away. This was our first time renting a vacation home. You thought of everything. Thank you for making this such a positive experience. I don't see hotel stays in our future!

I fell in love with France and the French at the impressionable age of 14...and have never quite recovered. A devoted francophile/francophone for thirty+ years, I've wandered around every corner of France, thrilling to each region as if it's a different country, loving the differences and regionalisms I've encountered. Provence is one of my favorite areas, and I love to share it with guests. I've put as many creature comforts into this special 'chez moi' as I spend a lot of personal time there myself, and my guests have always been appreciative. You're here to enjoy yourself et vivre a la francaise! Let the party begin--que la fête commence!
Aix is quintessential Provence, a perfect town to hang around in on its own, or use as a focal point from which to discover the other joys of the south of France. I love the central location, the surprising quiet of the apartment, and the dedicated parking space in this town of difficult parking...and you can always keep in touch with home with the free wifi, free telephone usage to all of North America and western Europe.
You're 30 seconds away from everything...walk out the front door, et voila, the Cours Mirabeau in full swing...restaurants, shops, strolling, marchés, museums, monuments, boutiques, banks...or take a day trip to Les Baux, Avignon, Marseille, Cassis, Isle sur la Sorgue, Gordes, Roussillon....then retreat back inside after an outing, an ahh, the quiet and peacefulness of this wonderful air conditioned/heated apartment...where you can cook up a storm, relax and watch TV, check your email, take a nice hot shower et bonne nuit!
