Built in 2009, 2300 square foot, two story home with lots of mature trees and balconies. Perfect for a large family, two families or an extended family vacation. Our recent guests tell us that this is the nicest home near the beach in this price range... they love the new, clean open feel of our home... check out the positive reviews below. There's a reason why every week was booked during our first summer... great fall getaway as well. Located one block from the water, and a 4 block walk to the blue stairs / Kids Korner Park. Nice quiet tree lined street with great neighbors. There’s a fire pit for evening family gatherings, WI-FI, cable TV, gourmet kitchen, big dining area, four decks/balconies, large yard, relaxing decor and more. The house is made for relaxing, lots of windows and light, with a private balcony off the master bath, a front balcony shared by the two front bedrooms plus front and rear ground floor decks - 4 individual decks!

Further details for this vacation house rental in South Haven, Michigan

The floor plan is open with a large front living room, as well as a den opening up to the kitchen and dining room. Sleeping arrangements are queen bed in master bedroom, queen in hall bedroom, and bunks in both front bedrooms. The bunks are twin over full with a trundle, so up to 4 can sleep in each bedroom. In addition, there is a queen sleeper-sofa downstairs. Other bonuses include gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, first floor 9 foot ceilings, crown molding throughout, whirlpool tub in the master bath, 4 TVs with cable, and high-end front loading washer/dryer combo. There is also a basement with a foosball table and a combo air hockey/mini-ping pong/pool table. DVDs, kids videos, and games are available as well.

We are a leisurely 10 minute, 4 block walk along Monroe Blvd. to the blue stairs. (We are actually a block off the water, but the 'blue stairs' public access is a little further away.) See the google maps info below on the house location. Downtown is a longer walk, about a mile, or a couple minute drive.

We understand rentals with large families and friends. Have you rented and found out that they barely have enough places to sit for dinner, or just enough dishes for 10 or 12 people? We get it, our home is comfortable for a large group with plenty of dishes and utensils. (Check out the guest comments for their perspective.) And while you don't come to South Haven for the neighbors, don't be surprised if you get invited over for a barbeque or at least some pleasant conversation. Towels and linens are included. Please bring your own beach towels. For weekly rentals, check-in is 4:00 PM Saturday and check-out is by 10 am the following Saturday.

This new, large home was perfect for our big family! It is very well appointed! Lots of seating, and super comfortable beds! We enjoyed all of the outdoor seating and fire pit as well. A close walk to the beach and even quicker bike ride! Less than 1/2 mile! Also an easy walk to town along the water. This is THE BEST value in South Haven. The owner was extremely accommodating! Thanks for a great week!

You have a beautiful home and did a spectacular job with the décor! A great time was had by everyone in our family – we truly love South Haven and the surrounding areas. So much to see and do – or not – taking time to do nothing is also having a great time. Just know that we appreciated staying in your lovely home. So sad to see our week come to an end but it was nice while it lasted!

My wife and I, our 3 kids (6,4,& 2) and my wife's parents stayed in the house and had a great week! The house is spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. We actually overpacked... it had detergents, soaps, toilet paper, paper product, games, book and videos for the kids, great appliances, etc... It's the best equipped vacation house we've ever rented! The yard is big enough for some games for the kids and we certainly enjoyed relaxing on the deck and using the firepit. It was about a 10-minute walk to the beach access stairs or about a 1-minute drive with many parking places right next to the beach access. The quaint downtown area and the Black River are about a 2-minute drive and nice areas to walk around. We were at the beach almost every day, we explored the downtown shops, we fished off the pier one day, we golfed one day, and the kids had a blast at the beach and at the giant Kids Korner playground near the beach access. The Sunsets over the lake are absolutely unbelievable!! Thanks for a great place to stay!!
