This charming place has the feel of a 'Beach Cottage' even though it is not directly on the Beach. Ceramic tile floors withstand the ocean and sand, and the cheery tropical bathroom lets you know you're at the beach. Soothing seashore colors of blues and greens relax you, and the sound of the ocean will lull you to sleep.

This apartment is located on the first floor of a lovingly renovated older home in a quiet residential neighborhood. Beach access is right outside your front door - just cross the street and you'll see it! Have your morning coffee at the table and chairs on the terrace by your entrance. Read the paper and enjoy the people going by - walking, jogging, or riding bicycles. The City of Cape Canaveral has just put in a new bicycle path that runs right in front of our place. Grab one of the bikes we have for your use and join them !!
About Kathy

My husband and I are 'semi-natives' to Florida having left the cold of New Hampshire and Western New York over 30 years ago.

Kathy purchased this apartment in 1997
Why Kathy chose Cape Canaveral

We live and work in Orlando and found ourselves heading to the beach when ever we could. It just made more sense to buy this lovely old home then to pay for Hotel rooms. The place has 4 Units and we kept one for ourselves.....offering vacation rentals so more people can enjoy what we do.

What makes this apartment unique

We love the charm of this older building surrounded by Palm trees on the corner of the beach access road. 300 steps and you are.on the beach. We take care of the property ourselves so you will always know that from the friendly welcome to the personal touches that we are happy that you chose to stay here.

We are located 1 1/2 miles south of Jetty Park and 1 1/2 miles north of The Cocoa Beach Pier. The Beach House is on the corner of the beach access road which means we are a very short walk to the beach. It is a quiet neighborhood place with Condos and Townhouses surrounding us, no Hotels or Souvenir Shops. For those of you who prefer not to deal with 'Condo' rules, parking passes, or elevators, this is the place for you!! You can park in front of your door which makes loading and unloading the car a breeze.

We are a few miles from the Port where you will find restaurants, seafood markets, charter fishing boats and Cruise lines. The Airport in Orlando is 45 minutes away, and Disney is about 1 hour.

Other Activities: kayaking, parasailing, shopping, boating, mini golf

Notes: You will find everything you need to feel at home. Even in such a small place, the kitchen is well equipped and there are plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. The dining area is a fold down table with 2 stools. The air conditioner is a wall unit which is also a heater for the few times in the winter when there might be a chill in the air. It does heat up or cool down the Unit very quickly. Outside you will find beach chairs,beach towels, a cooler, and an umbrella to take to the beach.

This is our 2nd visit to the cottage, and we are planning our next one. It just ends to soon for us. First the price is right, then the location is great and most of all Kathy and Scott are wonderful people. We have stayed other places in the past and none of them compare to this little retreat. We will continue to return until we can retire there. This is the best place to relax and enjoy a vacation. Sue & Ron B.

My hysband and I discovered this cute little place 4 years ago and totally fell in love with it... we have been back every year since!!!
The location is perfect and you have everything you need on site... the perfect place to really kick back and relax!
You are guaranteed to find a clean, well-maintained property and quiet place... If the nights are not too cool, you can go to bed with your window open and listen to the sound of the waves... that's how close you are to the beach!
Thanks to Scott & Kathy we really have found our home away from home and look forward to returning every year!

Great Villa Getaway! Close to the Beach!

This little villa was perfect for our little weekend getaway! It was close to everything we needed. It was so close to the beach that it was no problem loading up my chairs and beach bag and walk across the street to the beach access. So close I could run up to use the bathroom whenever I needed! Just minutes from the Port where we dined each night! Loved going to Jetty park to see the cruise ships set sail, it was just a few minutes away! The villa was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed as well as all the personal touches like shampoo, lotion, toothbrushes. Kathy the owner even left keylime bread out for us!!! Very nice jesture. I loved the bicycles and took a nice ride in the evenings. My little schnauzer loved the place and was comfortable too. We felt safe taking walks at night. We hope we get to go back to visit again! Perfect Location! Thanks Kathy!

Amazing :)

My husband and I were able to have a great second “honeymoon” in Cape Canaveral, a thousand thank yous to Scott & Kathy. This wonderful property was very clean, well maintained, and extremely comfortable. Boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers, sand toys, spices, a grill, toiletries…you name it it’s there. We enjoyed how quite it was (with four kids it’s rarely quite), yet how close we were to everything. We loved going to Port Canaveral for dinner, drinks and live music. La Fiesta Mexican was another great find, and had amazing food. If you are looking for a place to stay in Cape Canaveral, look no further…this is the one! We can’t wait to go back.
