Lake home on beautiful Upper Silver lake with TONS of room. The house is directly across the street from the lake’s private access. There is a firepit, pinic table, and if you like to fish you can do that too! They stock the lake every year.

The House has 2 large decks. The deck off the kitchen is ½ covered and has a grill for bqq’ing. It is nice to have dinner on at night with wonderful views of the lake. The side deck is good for sun bathing. In the backyard there is a firepit for late night campfires.

The house has all the amenities you need. A full size washer and dryer, plenty of parking for dune buggies and trailers.

The location is great. Secluded enough to relax, but close enough to all the action if you are up for it. Downtown Silver Lake is approximately 2 miles away where you can rent jeeps, dune buggies, jet skis, boats etc. If you have any questions about the house just call us!

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (US Dollar) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Additional information about rental rates

  • $500 deposit is due to hold the property for the renter. Half of the rental fee is due 4 weeks before rental begins. The remaining half is due 2 weeks before the rental begins. Full Rental fee plus deposit is due no later than 2 weeks before the check in date. If full payment is not made the house will be made available to other renters until full payment is made. Deposit will be refunded within 1 week to renter(s) less any damage or excessive cleaning fees.

    Cancelation: If a cancelation is requested before 2 weeks of the check in date by the renter and the property cannot be rented the renter will forfeit the deposit. If a cancelation is requested within 2 weeks before the check in date by the renter and the property cannot be rented the renter will forfeit 100% of the rental fees, the deposit will be returned. In either case if the property can be rented, the deposit will be refunded less a $50 fee. Any mid-rental cancelations will not recieve a refund of any rental fees.
  • Please no more than 8 Adults at one time and 10 people MAX(including childern) staying in the house. If these terms are exceeded there will be a $20 fee per person per day.

    A $50 credit will be offered if you would like to bring your own linens and towels. Blankets and comforters will still be provided.

    If Credit Card processing is requested we charge an additional 3% (that is what we are charged by the credit card company).

Notes: Please note the house is not air conditioned. The basement is all concrete and stays very cool. There are ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms and a box fan. Driveway will accomodate 6 cars and there is street parking. We prefer you do not park on the lawn. If necessary park on the side lawn, but do not pull up past the driveway.

Quite Hours: As neighbours are close and families have young children we will ask that all guests respect quiet hours. Quiet hours will begin at 10:00 pm and end at sunrise.

Please feel to have guests over to grill and enjoy the deck. Although the house yeilds itself for larger gatherings, parties will not be tolerated.

Just What it Says

I have been staying in a hotel room for years during my yearly trip to the dunes. I have FINALLY realized I can stay at a much nicer place with much more for less! We had plenty of room with everything we needed. The house had SPACE. Room for everyone to be able to kick back and relax. We are looking so forward to returning year after year. Thank you for everything!

Awesome rental and well kept home!

I was trying to find a rental that was kind of last minute so I could get away from the stresses of my everyday life at home. Rob and Katy happened to have a cancellation and contacted me right away. We made last minute arrangements and rented the home! We walked into a very nice, clean and well kept home that was very comfortable. The kind of home you would want to treat with respect, like you would your own home! We had a great time and a very comfortable stay. The neighbor was friendly and a big help with any questions we had. We could not have rented a better home, owned by the nicest people. It had everything you needed in the home...plus more! This home is the one to rent and we will return again. It was clean ,comfortable and I had a stress free vacation! Thanks again .....Rob and Katy you two are awesome. Hope & John Kady

Good Week

We had a wonderful time. The house is secluded but yet in the middle of everything. sitting on the deck was so relaxing. and being only minutes from Lake Michigan and town was a huge plus. The house is
what I would call (full Service). Everything is supplied but food. We won't consider anyother place to stay. After comparing the prices in the area this is the best bang for your buck.

Great Stay

The cottage is across the road from the lake but must have deeded access. We went up over Memorial Day weekend and the cottage was very clean plenty of beds and space to spread out. Lots of parking on a narrow dead end street. Had a slight issue with the hot water which was immediately resolved. The folks that live next door couldn't have been more help. If you're going to the Dunes for the weekend with some buddies you could do a lot worse then to rent this cottage. Thanks Rob, we'll stay again!
