About The Owner

We LOVE Destin...We are Angie and Don Bennett and currently live north of Atlanta. We look forward to moving to Florida someday, but until then we visit whenever we can. Don lived in the Destin area in 1960 and we both vacationed in the area for many years until our first condo was reserved pre-construction in 1994. Since then our love of the area compelled us to invest in additional properties. Don is very active in the Destin area and is the founder of "Community Association Presidents of the Emerald Coast" (CAPEC), an organization striving to make the Destin area even better for property owners and their guests. Don is also a member of Citizens for Healthy Beaches working to make the world's best beach even better.

The Owner purchased this condo in 1999
Why The Owner chose Destin

Leeward Key is just across Scenic Gulf Drive from the beach making it a reasonably priced property for the owner and guests. It is away from the hustle but yet close to everything desired for a wonderful vacation. Several restaurants are within walking distance. It is within a short distance to activities such as world class golf, championship sport fishing, unparalleled restaurants with European trained chefs, boutique and designer outlet shopping.

What makes this condo unique

We enjoy walks on the beach and beach side restaurants. Our visits to Destin Commons, Silver Sands Outlet Mall (the nation's largest designer outlet center), Grand Boulevard, Baytowne Wharf, HarborWalk Village... The list is endless!

We had a wonderful time! Could not of had a more beautiful view of the gulf. My husband was not to thrilled about vacationing at the beach. Funny how I could not get him out from under the umbrella at the beach. There was a nice breeze that just put him to sleep. Leeward Key's location is perfect for families. We will be visting again!

Helping Me through a Cold Winter

We had a wonderful time from July 10 to July 17 at the Leeward Key 804. It was a beautiful condo and the beach and water were unbelievably clean, warm, and clear. I talked with both of you at different times before we came and you gave me confidence that we should go to Destin. It was a great week and we are so happy that we did. Thank you so much and the beach memories I have will help me get through a cold Indiana winter coming up. Lee
