Experience Mammoth from the comfort of an architectural masterpiece situated on an acre of land secluded from the world.
This magnificent home offers four bedrooms, four baths, two living areas, a mud room and a loft area designated as kid territory. The homes stainless steel kitchen is designed by Boffi and boasts the very best Miele appliances including a built in espresso machine and steam oven.
The spa is conveniently located on the home's back deck under the Mammoth Milky Way. The spa's pop up speakers and floating remote assure maximum relaxation and pleasure as one touch track selection moves you to your favorite Jack Johnson tune.
The home's antique bar cart is always stocked and represents a simple stop on the way to the spa. If your destination season is spring or summer enjoy the sounds of Mammoth Creek or simply drop your line in as the property is completely surrounded by this beautiful creek bed.
The home's furnishings are nothing less than insane. The design team mixed antiques purchased in and around LA with contemporary Italian design by B&B Italia and American style via Ralph Lauren.
You will not find the traditional 'horn decor' in this Mammoth home.
The home is located on what locals describe as the best street in Mammoth. This secluded location at the end of a private drive marks an ideal destination for celebrities accustom to the very best accommodations and maximum privacy.
This is not the type of home typically found on a rental website and therefore the home is only available to select rental patrons, pre-approved by the owners.
we are a family of five...athletic, creative, fun
The Owner purchased this house in 2005
mammoth is a rad little town, on the cusp of greatness. we built at this particular location because it is absolutely beautiful year round, private and raw.
peace for sure. no more ringing ears. no stress. we are in no hurry in Mammoth.
Our experience was amazing. We stayed here with three families and even snowed in for a day, the kids had a blast. I highly recommend this Mountain retreat. The owners were very nice, information and the place is well prepared for guests. The kids loved the loft and served as there own retreat to play.
So here are the Pros: Everything...
This home is anything but average! My family and I LOVED the style and layout of this fantastic mountain home. From the amazing Boffi kitchen to the RL furniture this home is NOT your average rental. The jacuzzi and back deck is a great place to unwind after a day of hiking or skiing. All in all this is the best rental home we have ever had the pleasure of enjoying...anywhere. The photos do not do this wonderful home justice.
My family (12 total) vacationed at the Creek House in July of 2010. You can believe the description- this is a unique house, unlike any we have ever stayed at in Mammoth. The architecture was interesting and stylish but, at the same time, the home is comfortable and convenient and easily accommodated our large group. But as great as the house is, the location is even more spectacular. Mammoth Creek runs around the backyard and the lawn and deck are perfect spots for relaxing in a chair with a book and/or drink and listening to the rushing water. No other homes are visible from the yard and your views are of trees and mountains. Plus, you are close to Mammoth town and the Mammoth Lakes basin (with fantastic hiking, boating, and fishing) is just a few miles away. Finally, the owner and the local property manager were always helpful and very easy to work with. We highly recommend the Creek House and hope to stay there again.
My family stayed in this house in June, 2010 for 5 nights. There were 6 adults and two children. It was perfect! The home is so comfortable, beautifully decorated and has everything you will need. Dealing with the owners and property manager was a pleasure. The location of the house is also awesome. But, wait until you see the views of the mountains and Mammoth creek running right through the property. Seriously, the place just soothes your soul. We highly recommend staying here and hope to go back ourselves!
