Two porches to enjoy and relax in a safe ocean side neighborhood. Short safe walk to beach on private street. Each room decorated and coordinated to turn back the time in a different color theme reflecting the ' Colors of Maine Summers ' ; Blue ocean, Green tranquil Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge, Yellow sunny days on the beach, and Peach/Salmon sunsets. Dining for 8 around the farmers table with 4 more at the adjacent kitchen raised island bar. A large living room with comfortable wicker furnishing. Nap and sleep to the rhythm of the surf. No pets.

Great beach house for families with children

This house was exactly as described and pictured. It has a beautiful kitchen, which was fully equipped, as well as a charcoal grill outside. Nice, open floor plan to the main living space. The house has four bedrooms, sleeping a total of 8 people. Three bedrooms are on one side of the house, near the full bathroom, and the other bedroom is on the other side of the house with the half bath with washer/dryer. The outside shower was a bonus, as was the washer/dryer. This house is around the corner from private, sandy Moody beach (about 5 min walk). The beach is gorgeous and not too crowded - even over the July 4th holiday. The only trick with the beach is that there are no public bathrooms, so be aware of that, particularly if you have small children. But we made it work and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many times we were the only ones enjoying the beach in the morning hours, other than a few people walking or running. The house is just a short car drive to grocery stores, restaurants, mini-golf, and about 20 minutes from York Zoo and Amusement Park. I would definitely recommend this home. The owners are very gracious hosts and made sure we were well taken care of, including a bottle of wine and flowers on arrival, and July 4th t-shirts for our kids!

I would recommend this house to anyone. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves at this house rental.

The owners thought of every little detail to make everyone staying, happy. From leaving us fresh flowers and a bottle of wine, to every kitchen utensil, cookware, dishes etc, to a sprinkler for kids on a hot day if you didnt want to go to the beach. The house has a very open concept and is extremely comfortable and very quiet! Teh dishwasher, washer/dryer and outdoor shower are a huge plus.

Right around the corner from the beach! and driving distance to everything (stores, restaurants, arcade, mini golf etc).
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities
