6-8 people can stay in great comfort. All of the details have been carefully considered to make this your home away from home in San Francisco.
The Neighborhood: Richmond District is one of San Francisco's most desirable and safe neighborhoods. It is filled with a mix of Edwardian and Victorian houses. It is a wonderful, lively place. We recommend hanging out at the Sunday morning farmer's market on Clement Street; walking through the so-called “New China Town”: Clement St. and Irving St.; eating out at wonderful restaurants at Geary Blvd, Clement St. and Balboa St.; walking to Golden Gate Park, the Presidio (Baker beach), Land’s End, the Ocean Beach (Cliff House), and many nearby attractions. Locals are friendly, approachable and laid back.
Keywords: San Francisco luxury home, kid friendly, 3+ bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, parking, yard, WiFi, home theater, close to Golden Gate Park, walk to attractions and restaurants. Fully equipped. Corporate rental.

We are a family with three little kids. We've been living in this area for a very long time and we love here. We are sharing our local info with guests.
Lan Lin purchased this house in 2002
Great location. Close to Golden Gate Park, the Presidio, the ocean, and it's very easy to take buses to go to downtown. The house is spacious, has a lot of wood inside, very comfortable.
Close to Golden Gate Park, beaches, the Presidio, Lincoln park, Land's end; walkable to many restaurants in Geary, Balboa, Clement, and Irving st. Buses run every other street (#5, #31, #38, #2, #29). Fresh air from the ocean. Parking available. Beautiful back yard. Laundry in house. Home theater. Free-WiFi. Spacious. High-end beds and bedding. Top appliances.
We had a really enjoyable week – incredible to think that what was once an imaginary landscape is now familiar to us!
Thanks for leaving such a catholic supply of books on the shelves – highly appreciated!
Thanks also to Dave for coming round to sort out a few minor issues… everything worked out perfectly
All in all a great experience. Best wishes to your family, greetings from
Douglass and family
PS Shalimar on Polk St is outstanding!! Best curry I have had, including Pakistan and Glasgow!
We thoroughly enjoyed the use of this home. As a family of 5 with young kids, travelling across the country, what a relief it was to arrive at a nice home opposed to a cramped hotel room. We really enjoyed staying here, so much so it would be hard to visit SF again without the use of a house.
The kids had a great time here! We got to visit many fun places, Golden Gate Park, Pier 39, Chinatown, Exploratorium, and visited with family and friends.
The house provides plenty of room for play, meals, and hanging out. We even enjoyed the quality of the linens and towels. Thanks again!
This is the perfect place to stay if you have kids and want to visit San Francisco. It was big with plenty of room for the kids to run around. They have toys, a play-pen, and a stroller. (Why doesn’t everybody provide a stroller?) Kids also loved the big screen for movies. The kitchen is good sized with everything we needed to cook the meals for some fussy eaters. Golden Gate park is less than a block away. The ocean and museums are close, and there are some great playgrounds nearby as well. Also appreciated that they have a dedicated parking space in the driveway. Major hassle reduction! Loved this place. And Lan was fantastic to deal with. She responded promptly to questions — even late at night. Thanks Lan, for everything!
I am a frequent business traveler. Put another way, the ‘romance’ of travel faded away many years ago. When I travel for business I look for fast Internet connectivity, space for my team if we are traveling together, airport and meeting access, and comfort — in that order. And, frankly, I don’t care about much of anything else. I just want to do my job and get home to my family.
From my perspective, this house was absolutely perfect.
- Internet: The connection was reliable and fast (49.99Mbps down and 11.36Mbps up — for those of you who care about these things).
- Space: There was plenty of room for the team. In fact, I got the king-sized bed in the master bedroom (virtues of being the boss : -) and there were still 3 other bedrooms with a queen bed, a full bed and two single beds. In addition, we set up the ‘sun room’ with pads. Plenty of room for the team.
- Access: The house was about 1/2 hour from SFO (the airport) in our rental car. (Oh, and there is parking!) Downtown and our meetings were 20 mins or so.
- Comfort: The place was big. We weren’t tripping over one another or keeping each other awake. The kitchen was great with every gadget and tool we could want. We even stayed in 2 nights, cooked and ate together, that was lots of fun and something I almost NEVER do. The beds were comfy, the neighborhood quiet.
For our next set of meetings in SF, I’ll be back here for sure.
We had a great stay! Home was very family friendly and location was convenient to get to and from all of the city hot spots. Lan was incredibly responsive and great to coordinate reservation and logistics once checked in.
Our family and extended family, sister, mother-in-law, boyfriend, all comfortably stayed in this fabulous San Francisco home next to the Golden Gate Park. The location was perfect for our graduation picnic, our hikes through Lands End, the celebration at the Presidio, graduation at UCSF and the surf check. It is clean and comfortable with good vibes. We hope to return.
We had the most wonderful stay...the house is spacious, very comfortable, and beautifully laid out. My husband and I were there with our daughter and our son-in-law and two grandchildren, ages 3 and 1, and the little girls were in heaven. They loved the playroom and chalkboard, and the many, many children's books in every room. The location is perfect for exploring the city, too. We were in town for our son's wedding, and the house was a perfect "base camp" for all of our events, and a wonderful place for the family to gather and visit. The street is quiet and charming, we loved having parking in the driveway and easy street parking as well. The information provided by the owner is comprehensive and so helpful, and the owners are available for any questions, which we very much appreciated. We would recommend this property to anyone, and we are already looking forwad to our next stay...we will definitely be back!
