This property has belonged to my family for many years, and I am sure you will love your stay there. While it is not directly on a lake, it is within walking distance of a community beach site on Lake Mah-Kee-Nac. This beach site, which offers a scenic view of the surrounding Berkshire hills, also allows for wonderful, swimming, boating, and just lounging about. The music, art, theatre and dance close by is to be enjoyed. The fall and winter also offers a wonderful time with fine skiing, and other winter activities.

Location: Berkshires < Massachusetts < USA

Our house is just off Lake Mahkeenac. We have rights by deed to the lake through a community lot (Mahkkenac Shores) located only a very short walk from the house. We are about one mile from Tanglewood, and about three miles from the centers of both Lenox and Stockbridge. You may enjoy swimming, boating, tennis, hiking, birdwatching, or just relaxing. In the winter, there is skiiing; in the fall, a wonderful foliage. Besides Tanglewood, there are wonderful venues for dance, theater and good movies. Williamstown and Great Barrington are easily reachable. The house itself is comfortable, and fun, and offers privacy.
