A 'favorite house' of many natives, this romantic antique filled cottage cabin was the prototype built by Bill Jasch in 1932 that began the 'Michiana Mystique'. The 3 bedroom (2 double beds, 1 twin) 2 bath is surrounded by beautiful gardens. There is a charming back porch which feels like being in a tree house with 42 inch flat screen TV, screened in front porch with porch swing, great room with fabulous fieldstone fireplace, gazebo with 3 hickory sofas perfect for intimate dinners or lounging and a wonderful beach 200 steps away. Wake to the birds, go to sleep to the sounds of the lake and silence, enjoy coffee and cocktails on the screened in front porch, sunbathe, beach walk, antique, shop, dine, ride horses, relish lush greenery and peace or just relax in a refined rustic environment. Ralph Lauren would approve!
