This is the perfect 2 story house for both small and large groups - the main floor has 3 bedrooms/2bathrooms and sleeps 6 - however if you are coming with several family members you will want to spread out and also use the downstairs, which has 2 more bedrooms/1 bathroom. The beds upstairs consist of 1 queen, 1 double and 2 twins; downstairs there is a double and 2 twins. There is a kitchen on each floor and the added convenience of also a washer/dryer on each floor. Linens and towels are not provided with the house - however they can be included for an additional fee. Although this is an older home, it has great beachy charm and a perfect location. It is not close to public parking, so the beach is never crowded here. After a complete beach re-nourishment last year, there is lots of room to spread out even at high tide.

Fernandina Beach is the little town on Amelia Island - we are close to Jacksonville airport. We are 2 hours from Savannah, 3 hours from Disney World, just under an hour to Jacksonville - Southwest and Jetblue both fly into Jacksonville.

The historic downtown is less than 10 minutes away - there you will find wonderful restaurants, inviting ice cream stores, fascinating stores to browse through and a beautiful marina where you can see many boats coming and going - be there in the afternoon and watch the charter fishing boats unload their catch.

Well behaved pets are permitted for an additional fee - there is a city leash law and litter pick up law that we respectfully ask that you strictly adhere to - fines are imposed for littering the beach.
