House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

This is our paradise and we want to share it with guests who will love it as much as we do! The house is beautifully professionally decorated with quality furnishings and fun Florida additions and colors. It is a perfect vacation home for 1, 2 or 3 couples with guest rooms separate from the master suite.

The house is on a private road and not even a 5 minute walk to the Gulf of Mexico where we have beach access. There are views of Lemon Bay from the guest rooms. Bikes, beach chairs and toys are all there for you to enjoy.

Each evening take your glass of wine up to the beach to view to magnificent sunset. That's what we do!!

Oh- did I mention the many water sports and shopping and restaurants in the area? We love it because there is a ton to do OR nothing to do but relax- very quiet and so relaxing.

About The Owner

We are Doug and Betsy Tootell from Lewes, Delaware. Doug is a builder and Betsy is an elementary school teacher. We have 5 grown children and 4 grandchildren. We are competitive runners and triathletes. Our children are, too! (the boys are Ironmen) So, whenever we visit one another, many times we have to squeeze in a training run or ride. Then we all 'crash' on the beach- in DE and FL.

The Owner purchased this house in 2004
Why The Owner chose Manasota Key

We bought this house because we fell in love with it immediately. We had a condo up the street and were looking for something bigger and nicer. We live at the beach back home and know what a true beach house is! It is definitely our paradise and we get to the house as often as we can. We are athletes- we do marathons and triathlons and when we come to Manasota Key- we train hard and then just relax at the house and on the beach. Our grown children and our grandchildren love the house, too. There is something to do for everyone!

What makes this house unique

There is so much to do if you want OR just do nothing and you will return from your vacation relaxed and rested. We are going tarpon fishing next time we come. The Boca Grande is famous for it.
