Our stay at the cottage was awesome, it has all the amenities and accessories needed for an amazing trip of sight seeing or staying in. Even though the weather was a bit cool and windy the area was beautiful and well worth the trip. Plenty of vineyards, hidden gem restaurants and picturesque towns, not to mention the lakes. North Lake Leelanau is breath taking and absolutely clear! Definitely looking forward to coming back and staying longer.

Up North Vacation!

We truly enjoyed out time at this cottage on the lake. It has gorgeous views of the lake and sunsets - so pretty. The cottage was very clean and was exactly as depicted in the photos. The only thing not clear to us from the photos was that there are many steps down to the yard and beach - something to keep in mind. We loved the dock and floating raft -the kids had a ball. It's perfectly situated between Leland and Sutton's Bay so you can take advantage of all those towns have to offer. We visited several wineries in the area - Circa is a beautiful setting and we enjoyed Verterra wines. It's a very peaceful spot and we hope to stay again next summer.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children

Beautiful Little Cottage!

... relaxing four days at your Lake Leelanau cottage. Everything was exactly the way we wanted it and we returned to Grand Rapids re-newed and re-charged. Thanks for representing the property so accurately on VRBO. It's one of those things that you "just never know for sure until you arrive." But once we arrived, we knew for sure. It truly met our hopes and expectations. And we trust the care we took of the property during our stay met your expectations afterward.

Don, we're already talking about putting in our reservation... same time next year. Hope you can deliver on the weather again in 2013.

My wife and I rented the cottage for most of July. Our son and his girl friend visited on weekend. We had a grand time. The cottage is absolutely lovely. We enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning watching the water. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. The place is very well equipped and spotless. We really did not need to bring anything which was a blessing in itself. We hope to stay here again next year as it was really wonderful and in an outstanding location. Easy access to Leland, Sutton's Bay and Northport. I highly recommend it to others...just don't take our time slot.

Comfortable, Convenient, Everything the Description Indicates

We visited Lake Leelanau to attend a wedding after the High Season in September so, because of our limited time, we did not have an opportunity to use all the amenities at the cottage. The cottage was especially neat and tidy and well cared for and everything worked. The rainfall shower head in the bath was great. The neighbors were quiet which added to the peaceful atmosphere and we rested well. Everyone we crossed paths with couldn't have been kinder.
The location was most convenient with grocery shopping, restaurants, golf and more beautiful sites just a short drive away. Don't miss the walk up Whaleback Trail to see the sunset over Lake Michigan. Our morning walks around Lake Leelanau were also most refreshing with minimal traffic.
Lake Leelanau is beautiful as is the countryside. If our travel plans return us to the area, we will look again to rent this sweet cottage. The friends we met in Michigan all thought we had found the perfect rental.
