Sit out on your covered lanai and enjoy the breeze and view while you barbecue some fresh shrimp from the shrimp farm just down the road.
Enjoy the open space of the expansive lawn and meadow next to the property. Hukilau Beach Park is just across the street with it's white sandy shore that extends for more than a mile.
This is the perfect beach for an early morning jog or swim, body boarding, kite surfing, or just basking in the sun. There are several small islands just off shore, Goat Island being the largest.
You can walk across the reef to the island for a nice 1/2 day of exploration and fun (bring water shoes as the reef is rough). This unit was remodeled in 2008 with a complete new bathroom.
It features new tub and custom tile surround and cherry wood vanity with granite counter top. There is new natural stone flooring throughout the apartment and fresh paint.
Laie is a lovely community with the Polynesian Cultural Center just a 3 minute drive from the house, and the Brigham Young University close by.
Laie shopping center is in the heart of town with Food Land Grocery, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Sub Way and a few local restaurants, post office, dollar store, and Ice Cream parlor.
Come experience real Aloha in Laie, Hawaii! Available June 8, 2009.

Marci and her family moved from California to Hawaii in 2002, following 2 of their sons who were attending Brigham Young University in Laie. Marci Is a part time Realtor and enjoys the warm weather and relaxing environment of the Windward Coast and North Shore of Oahu.
Marci Paddock purchased this condo in 2002
We purchased this property after seeing it once on our trip to Laie for our oldest sons wedding. It was in ill repair, but had good bones and lots of land! We have enjoyed going from room to room renovating the building and each unit, making it a property that we love and plan to pass down to our children and grandchildren. In 2000 we built a second building on the property where many guests have enjoyed coming for their vacations.
We love the large meadow that connects to the property. It make our property feel so open and spacious. We can walk over to the meadow and play ball or run around with the kids and not worry about bothering the neighbors. It is so easy to walk across the street and launch our kayaks, or go for our morning walk. The beach goes for a couple of miles, sometimes without ever seeing anyone else. Often we see sea turtles feeding along the reef areas when we walk in the early morning. Surfers anxious to get in a little time on the waves before work paddle out to the far end of Goat island just after sunrise. I can't believe I live in such a beautiful place!
Screen door has been replaced. Perfect location and lovely unit. Everything we needed for a relaxing, romantic vacation. I would definatly stay here again.
Great place to stay if you want to spend time up north on Oahu.
Activities we enjoyed:
Snorkeling at turtle bay
Snorkeling at sharks cove
Kualoa ranch (multiple activities you can sign up for here. We did 2hr horseback ride and secret island )
Banzai pipeline (very beautiful beach with beautiful sand, crazy large waves, experienced surfers enjoy it )
Hiked to a waterfall behind the Polynesian cultural center
The place had an outdoor shower head to rinse off. That was nice. There is a beautiful 1.5mile paved path heading west on the highway which we loved. The place can get a little warm sometimes but if you choose the bedroom door, turn in the ac unit, and turn on the overhead fan it can get nice and cold. There is a hotplate and frying pan.
This is an amazing vacation rental. It is fully furnished including pot, pans, plate, and eating utensils.. It is very clean and private with separate bedrooms. It is also very beautiful, peaceful and quite during the day and night. You can walk to the ocean. Also, the grocery store, fast food and other convenient shops at within walking distance. If you need a nice stay on the north-shore, this is an excellent choice!
Thank you Marcie! My kids had a great time! Easy beach access. We love that side of the island. Very quiet. Thanks again!
Great location, easy to get around, and great beach across the street. BYU Hawaii, PCC and Laie Temple close by. Places close to by to purchase food. Very relaxing. We will book this place again. Thank you.
We enjoyed our stay so much! The weather got a little cold during our stay and I called Marci to ask her if she could provide some extra blanket. By the time I returned there were two extra blanket! I also happen to lock myself out once as well and Marci came to open the door within 5 mins. The beach is across the street with not that much tourists there. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to go snorkeling at Shark's cove or surfing at North Shore to stay at this place
Enjoyed our stay very much a Christmas to remember. Close to beach across the road and a grocery store down the road. Thank you for listing your property.
