Excellent place to visit or work in San Francisco

Review Submitted: July 26, 2011 Date of Stay: July 2011
A very fine house to stay in with all the comfort one can ask for. This house itself is located in a very quiet street (dead end). The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated. A well equipped kitchen and comfortable dining area. We could use the fast internet connection for free, always handy to stay in contact with family and or work. Restaurants and small shops are within walking distance around the corner. Also around the corner is the stop of the MUNI (light rail) that brings you to down town San Francisco in approx. 20 minutes, you do not need a car! A perfect place to stay both for business as well as vacation.

Awesome Place!!!!

Review Submitted: March 15, 2011 Date of Stay: September 2010
We were visiting San Francisco with our family in September for our friend's wedding and we stayed in this beautiful home!! We were so impressed by how clean and meticulous the house was. Bobby was such a great help and made us feel so welcomed. The neighborhood is great and very close to everything. We have recommended this place to many of friends and family.

No Place Like Home

Review Submitted: January 17, 2011 Date of Stay: October 2010
This house is in a great location with easy access to the Muni and bus system. You can travel anywhere in the city easily from this location. The proximity to the West Portal village also is a bonus. The village has shops, restaurants, library, post office and about anything you can think of. We stayed for nearly 3 months due to husband's short term work contract. The owners were the best hosts. They were very accommodating even to the point that they found items for our children's science and art projects. The house was very nicely decorated, very comfortable and inviting. They had everything you could need. They made our family of 4 feel very welcome and almost like we were family. They decorated for Halloween and Christmas which was awesome for our two young children (5 and8 years old). It really made our temporary stay much easier to adjust especially during the holiday seasons. They were very thoughtful and seemed to enjoy having our children around. We had a great stay and enjoyed San Francisco almost like natives. The memories we have from our stay here will be forever.

Thanks, Nick and Bob, you are the best!

Excellent place to stay, great location.

Review Submitted: September 18, 2010 Date of Stay: September 2010
A beautiful place to stay in a great location.

The house was oozing with character. Although the photographs are beautiful they didn't do the house justice it surpassed all of our expectations.

It felt like a home not just a place to stay.

The house is in a great location. Although we had hired a car it wasn't necessary with good local restaurants and links to the Muni underground rail transport into town.($2 each way to town!)

A beautiful park is within walking distance and the San Francisco Zoo is only a few minutes drive away.

A visit to Alcatraz is a must - the views back to San Francisco and towards Angel Island are incredible. The '6 hat' tour of Alcatraz was very interesting and brought the island to life.

I would recommed a trip on the cable cars, a visit to Lombard Street, the Modern Art museum, go across the Golden Gate bridge to Sausalito, visit Hait and the vintage music stores ....... the list is endless!

San Francisco is a magical place to visit - and should be a 'must' on everyone's list of places to stay. The 'fog' is incredible resting on, and between the magnificent buildings. The people are so friendly and there is so much to see and do.

I would highly recommed this property to anyone wanting a special place to stay in a great location. The owners provided excellent customer service - over and above anything we had experienced before. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if visiting the area.

Thank you for making our stay most enjoyable.
