Enjoy this spacious and friendly atmosphere that has ocean and mountain views and all the amenities to make you feel right at home.
The master bedroom includes a king size bed with comfy pillows and reading lamps. There's a desk available for computer work or to write out postcards. The window supplies plenty of light and tradewind breezes that blow through out the house. You'll feel relaxed when you look out and see the ocean view.
The second bedroom has a queen size bed and a spectacular view of Haleakala which lights up in the morning with the rising sun. Both bedrooms have large closet spaces and extra linens as needed.
The house is located in a older quiet neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac. It is an upstairs unit attached to the owners dwelling which provides support yet remains private. The garden hosts many herbs and vegetables to add a little zest to your home cooked meals in the spacious kitchen or for the bar-b-que. You'll feel just as comfortable at the beach in the beach chairs provided as well as beach towels. There are plenty of coolers and snorkel gear to take with you as well.

This apartment has a great location. Not only is it located just minutes from world known beaches, hikes to waterfalls are just down the road. Local restaurants and boutique shops are in proximity as well as many yoga studios and day spas. It's a great alternative to the hustle and bustle of the tourist part of the island. Haiku remains cool during the day with tradewind breezes and overnight showers keeps things nice and lush. Staying in this area is a great way to experience true Hawaii.
Thank you Lyn and Colin for a fantastic place to stay and your generosity and hospitality are above and beyond! We love your spacious rooms, island decor and hominess. Thank you for spoiling us at Mama's Fish House Lyn! That was so kind! If you ever want to leave this paradise and find yourselves in Colorado, look us up. Mahalo
Loved the location as we wanted to be located on the North Shore. Enjoyed the country atmoshere with the Roosters to wake you each morning.Hana Highway was excellent,McKenna area superb snorkelling and town of Paia really a lot of fun. Do not miss the Fish Market.
After 2 nights at Wikiki we enjoyed the solitude. The accommodations were great, only a block from the Road to Hanna. Up the road is the Paia Fish Market Restaurant, a great place for sea food and local color.
Everything we could hope for! Wonderful accommodations, excellent hosts.
Loved the location in a neighborhood cul-de-sac on the "Road to Hana". We took that drive and were overwhelmed w/the beauty. It was good to be back in our place, though, and use the hot tub. Colin and Lynn were the most gracious hosts with lots of good information of the adventures in this part of Maui. Dinner at nearby Mama's Fish House was a highlight. I have already recommended this spot to friends and relatives.
Lynn and Colin were great host, going out of their way to insure we had a great stay, which we did. Our oldest used the living room for sleep and it worked perfectly, hot tub was a blessing after long hikes, all recommodatios were the best for our needs and they did not complain about our noises....
My family and I stayed for just two nights and really enjoyed our time here. Colin and Lyn made us feel very welcome, giving us lots of information about sights to see and places to eat, and the unit was stocked with spices and coffee and all that we could need. By staying here we felt we got a head start on the Road to Hana and were only an hour and a half from the peak of Haleakala. Colin suggested we do the hike at the Oheo Gulch to the bamboo forest and waterfall, and it was one of our favorite adventures. Pa'ia was just around the corner for dinner too. Two days here wasn't nearly enough time to see everything and enjoy the hospitality.
