Assisi is the perfect quiet place to relax and be inspired. Stay in our apartment and there is no need for a car. Enjoy the best of Assisi: the Basilica of Saint Francis, where you can visit his tomb and the breathtaking frescos by Giotto. Visit the Roman temple to Minerva. Stroll medieval streets and enjoy views of the Umbrian countryside. Hike Mount Subasio and explore the many inspiring Franciscan shrines nearby. Also the perfect base to visit Rome, Florence, Siena, Perugia etc. using public transportation. Venice can be reached by an overnight train. It is a self-catering, studio apartment, with a large couch that folds out into a comfortable queen sized bed, plus a loft with two twin mattresses. The structure was built over 800 years ago and the apartment was immaculately renovated in 2009 leaving all of the historic details intact. Full custom kitchen with marble counters. Bathroom with tub and shower. Walk to everything. Perfect for singles, couples, or a family of four.

Walk from our apartment to the Mount Subasio nature preserve with beautiful hiking trails and Fransican shrines. Efficient and inexpensive public transportation can take you to Rome, Florence, Siena, Spoleto, Perugia, and many other interesting places. Art and music festivals abound. Our apartment is in the heart of the historic center and you can walk to all restaurants and sites.
