As described, and truly a delight!

First time we've stayed anywhere but a hotel, as we planned to be in SF for eight nights and really didn't want to eat 24 restaurant meals! Easy drive from SFO, with space for parking rental car. The lighting system must have been designed by a Cal Tech dropout--way too complicated, but we figured out the basics. Aesthetically divine and physically comfortable. Only problems were non-functioning internet part of the time, and no cable (i.e, no TV). Also, can't imagine why there were no paper products on hand. Penny wise? Silly. If not for these annoyances, would rate "excellent."
Located near BART stop and great restaurants. Ate at Spork and Monks nearby; breakfasted at Tartine; shopped at Lucca for Italian goodies. Walked to Mission Dolores after Tartine, then on to BART for downtown sights. Had two casual dinners "at home" with our son and SO. Lovely accommodations.
