5 houses from the ocean, this charming cottage has a large country kitchen, fully equipped, including dishwasher. Queen size bed in one room and bunk beds plus one twin in the other. Tropical landscape with view of fresh water stream and banana trees in the back. Close to Polynesian Cultural Center, Kualoa Ranch (horse back riding, 4 wheeling, jet skiing, movie set tours, paint ball guns, etc), Turtle Bay Golf Resort, Brigham Young University, and many beautiful North Shore beaches. Enjoy the pristine blue waters of the Pacific on white sandy beaches lined with coconut palms and gentle trade winds. Excellent area for spear fishing, swimming, kayaking, and surfing. Eat the fresh grilled garlic coated shrimp at Giovani's shrimp truck by Kahuku shopping center, or enjoy a cone of Hawaiian Shave Ice at Angel's Ice Cream Parlor in the Laie shopping center. Stop in the Aloha Center at the BYUH campus and enjoy a delicious sandwich on freshly made bread daily. Aloha living!

Hauula and Punalu'u are home to several Art Galleries. The Kim Taylor Reese Gallery is on Kam Hwy and Hula Hula Street and features black and white photos of dancers on the beach of old Hawaii. Farmers Market is held every Saturday by Sunset Beach Elementary School. Surf competitions are held annually during the winter months when waves reach 30 to 40 feet on the North Shore. Surfers come from around the world to surf the waves of the North Shore of Oahu. The Polynesian Cultural Center hosts the international Fire Knife Competition each summer in May. Dancers from many countries, young and old, twirl the Fire Knife to wow the audience of six thousand or more.
