This spacious chalet is nestled between Lake Placid and Mirror Lake in the desirable Signal Hill section of Lake Placid. Though the property is secluded and private, it is just a short 5-minute walk to Mirror Lake, Lake Placid, and all of Lake Placid's shops and restaurants. It is also situated a short distance from the Whiteface Mountain Shuttle and a quick car ride to hundreds of miles of wilderness trails perfect for hiking, snowshoeing, etc. The house is newly furnished and features a large, well-appointed kitchen and eating area, an outdoor deck, 3 fireplaces, a giant picture window, multiple televisions, queen size beds, laundry, and WiFi. The house sleeps 10.

This is a warm beautiful home. We stayed here for a week during August 2009 and couldn't have asked for a better accommodation. There's plenty of room for everyone and the house is FULLY stocked with very nice furnishings. In addition, the home is an easy walk to Lake Placid or to the village.

The owners are also very accommodating and wonderful to deal with. We'll definitely be back.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
