Blissful Waterfall House

What a lovely weekend our family of four had at the Waterfall house.
Our only regret is that we did not stay longer. It was clean, modern
and spacious for our family. The kitchen was a joy to use, as was the wonderful smoker bbq. The best thing was hearing the waterfall 24/7, a lovely calm to our escape from the city. Bethel is a nice town, gorgeous lake. I would recommend a car to get around. We visited nearby Bethel Woods where woodstock was and by chance they were having a Harvest festival (every Sunday in the fall) which was fabulous. The hosts were very kind, helpful and available to our questions. We shall return.

Our stay at the house was absolutely wonderful!

The house is beautifully maintained, inside and out. The overall environment provides tranquility, with a bit of relaxed entertainment.

If you're looking for a relaxing escape accompanied with outdoor fun, this location is highly recommended!!

The house was exactly as it was described by the owner and even more. The house was perfect for me and my friends, it was decorated with the wonderfull taste, and on top of it all we got to enjoy the beautifful waterfall. The owner was very kind to us, he provided us with all the necessary amenities. We would definetely come back to this house because it left a very good impression on us, and i would personally recommend this house to my friends and relatives. The area where we stayed had a beautifful lake, where we rented a boat and got to enjoy the beautifful scenery.
Renting this house was a great decision that me and my friends made. Once again I want to thank the owner for his kindness and generocity.

Beautiful Accomodations

The Bethel waterfall house was absolutely beautiful. The description was completely accurate and the house exceeded our expectations. The house was spotless and very well maintained when we arrived. This was my first time renting a house, and I was a little weary at first about sending a check to someone I didn't know. The owner put my mind at ease after I spoke with him. Really great guy, honest, friendly and made me feel comfortable about the whole process. The owner also provided excellent customer service, and was available at all times to answer any questions I had. I have already recommended this house to a couple of relatives and friends. I also plan to rent this house again in the future. This is a great place to stay if you're going up to see a concert, if you want to vacation by a lake, and is also excellent for a romantic getaway. We went up to see a concert, and only stayed one night so the main attractions we saw were the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts and the Woodstock Museum. Both great places. There is a lake across the street from the house which has tons of activities that I saw which included jetskiing, tubing, and fishing. I would recommend this house to anyone I know, and if you are to read this review, I would seriously consider this house for rental. I had a few options when renting, and was completely satisfied and knew I made the right choice once I walked through the front door.

A Wonderful Treat!

I booked this place for my boyfriend's birthday and it was a wonderful treat. The cozy and secluded vacation home is spacious and well kept. The owners provide plenty of extras which gives it that much appreciated home away from feel, because of course I forgot my toothpaste! The best feature of course is the waterfall/creek which makes it a true gem.. It was absolutely amazing to hear the constant flow of the falls, coupled with the sights of trees that abound. If you love nature you'll love these bethel digs.

In terms of locale don't expect the Hamptons or Martha's V, its a very different kind of rural vibe but definitely amusing. We found plenty to do including jet skiing at an amazing lake just a few steps away, and an outdoor concert -Dillon, Nelson, Mellancamp- at the nearby Bethel Woods Center which was great!

Overall we had a wonderful time. The house is lovely, the surroundings peaceful and the owners are very nice and accommodating. Highly recommended for a romantic stay or a group gathering, and perfect for anyone in town for a show.
