Log home is close to six golf courses, the Chattahoochee ski area, Ghost Town amusement Park, Nantahalla Outdoor Center, Cherokee Casinos, and over 60 restaurants and shops. A 30 minute drive will take you to Asheville and the Biltmore Estates. You can also take a 30 minute drive to the Smoky Mountain National Park to see the Elk (or possibly a black bear).

Close to restaurants, shopping and all the conveniences that Waynesville and Maggie Valley have to offer. Waynesville is a beautiful small community of about 9,000 residents. The residents welcome tourism and summer visitors. It is a very friendly place with a lot of activities and festivals available. Maggie Valley is a popular tourist destination with a wide variety of attractions for children and adults alike, including skiing, Ghost Town amusement park, golf, and hiking trails.
