Nearest Restaurant : The Stanville Lodge at 0.75 Miles

The property is a 10 minute drive to Wexford Town, 20 minutes from the Rosslare ferry and 1.5 to 2 hour drive to Dublin.

Places of interest that are nearby include Johnstown Castle, JFK Park, the Dunbrody Famine Ship, National Heritage Park. Wexford Town boasts good restaurants and some shopping. There is a nearby bowling and indoor play centre for the kids and exciting nightlife for the adults.

The Wexford Races are held regularly at the Wexford Racecourse. Check out www.wexfordraces.ie.

October is a great month for the Wexford Opera Festival.

Truly a home away in Ireland

Our stay at the Ballywether house was amazing. We were not sure what to expect, but when we arrived we were immediately impressed by the gated property with winding drive over a stream to the house perched up on the hill so that it enjoys wonderful views of the countryside from all of the rooms. The inside of the house was clean, well outfitted, and perfect for a large and active family. The property was safe and private and our kids felt right at home with the toys and all the outdoors space to run around. The house was not far from Wexford city center and was in the perfect location for our driving adventures to other destinations. Dennis was so sweet and helpful, showing us all the workings of the house and telling us of great local dining options. We will definitely be coming back to this house, truly a home away in Ireland!
