Gorgeous sugar-white beaches and emerald waters surround us. Gorgeous beach for sun, sand and surf play. Lots of opportunities for boating and fishing. You can take a dolphin cruise, charter a boat for inshore or offshore fishing, rent kayaks or a pontoon boat for the lagoon and more. You can even fish and crab just steps from the house at nearby Lagoon Pass.
There are numerous marinas throughout the area as well as local companies that will deliver kayaks to house or a pontoon boat to the Little Lagoon public boat launch for you.
Family Friendly Activities:
Enjoy a wide range of family friendly activities. You'll find the usual amusements at The Track, Pirate's Island Putt-Putt, Adventure Island and Waterville USA. We also have two historic forts (Forts Morgan and Gaines), the National Naval Air Museum (and home of The Blue Angels) in nearby Pensacola, USS Alabama Battleship Museum on Mobile Bay, and more.
The Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo has white tigers and was the subject of the Animal Planet television series The Little Zoo That Could.
Visit Lulu's owned by Lucy Buffett, sister of Jimmy Buffett, to enjoy live music, good food, a huge sand play area and watch the boats travel the Intercoastal Waterway. Closer to the beach you'll find The Hangout, a large open air restaurant with music and sand play overlooking the beach.
Golf:
We have 9 signature courses within the immediate vicinity--more if you'd like to drive a few more minutes. Enjoy Kiva Dunes which is the top rated course in the state. Craft Farms and the Gulf State Park courses are both within 6 miles of the house.
