Our favorite vacation rental

We stayed at this condo in the beautiful village of La Jolla for a month this winter. Of all our vacation rentals this last winter, this one was by far our favorite. The location was absolutely superb...just steps from the gorgeous La Jolla Cove with its great walking paths, seals, pelicans and green spaces. Additionally, we were just a few short blocks to the center of the village with all its great shops and restaurants. While the condominium didn't directly face the ocean, there were side windows in the kitchen, living room and master bedroom which afforded ocean views and allowed the luxury of falling asleep to the sounds of the soothing surf.
Size wise the condo was just about right...not too big and not too small. The rooms were well laid out, with the kitchen, living and dining areas open to each other. This made it easy to cook and chat with each other at the same time. The rental was well stocked with everything needed to cook even elaborate meals. The nautical decor was warm and welcoming. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well designed with ample storage for your personal things. We would not hesitate to recommend this rental to anyone wanting a great La Jolla vacation experience.
