This waterfront hillside ranch is the perfect cozy retreat on 1/3 acre. 1 mile from a small town, population 500+. Bring your own water craft or let us give you a tour on ours. 1 mile from site of first Indian massacre, Big Bottom park. Close to the Wilds animal reserve, AEP Recreation lands, Historic Marietta on the Ohio River where route 40 to California started, Blennerhasset Island, Zane Grey Museum in Zanesville, Fenton Glassware Museum and tours, Amish country, the Big Muskie, and more. All day trips within an hour or less. This scenic road is often used for bike tours.

Rented the Eagles Nest and was totally satisfied. I take care of mentally challenged adults and took 3 of them there for some down time. The owners were looking for us, greeted us warmly and made up feel very welcomed. There was nothing left out in their welcome - would not have had to bring anything with us except our clothing. Not much to do in the area but if you are looking for serenity (or fishing) this is the spot. We are all looking forward to going back in the near future. Note: two floors so if not able to do stairs well remember this, but not a challenge.
