Tofino Waves, a private luxury beach side townhouse on majestic South Chesterman Beach in Tofino, BC. Chesterman Beach is celebrated for its great combination of surf, unbelievable wide flat sandy beach and tide pools. Experience an energizing walk with spectacular views of nearby islands and be inspired by the endless expanse of the Pacific. You will be simply captivated by the most exquisite sunsets.

Our sunny and bright 2 bedroom end unit townhouse is just steps to the beach. We have partial ocean and beach views and the sounds of the waves are constant. The master bedroom has a queen bed,TV/VCR,DVD,full ensuite with walk-in shower and soaker tub and French doors leading to a private balcony. The downstairs bedroom accommodates 4 or 5 people, cedar queen bed and hand crafted cedar and drift wood original 'Famous Tree House Bunk Beds' 3 level bunk beds. Livingroom has a queen Sofa bed for 2 people.

Our home features slate floor entrance; Douglas fir flooring on the ground floor; carpeted bedrooms; vaulted ceilings; a fully equipped open gourmet custom kitchen; two ceramic tiled bathrooms plus one of the only units with a WOOD BURNING FIREPLACE. We also feature High Speed Wireless Internet,Digital Cable TV, VCR/DVD and CD/Tape/Radio player, iPod dock, telephone / answering machine, washer and dryer, plus an outdoor gas BBQ.

Our fully equipped home is available year round and ideal for couples, families and small groups. Yes, well behaved pets can enjoy this too.

Shhhhhhhh- keep this place a secret!

Thank you Edie and Larry for sharing your lovely place at Tofino Waves. We had a wonderful few days over the new year with friends. Lots of beach walking, eating, reading, playing games, watching movies - it was all available there for us. Chesterman Beach is a jewel and our yellow lab insists that we go back as soon as possible since it is so 'dog friendly'. Everything was at our fingertips and we couldn't have asked for anything more! We look forward to a return visit in the future!

We love Tofino, we love the close proximity to the beach, we could ask nothing more of this cottage! We slept with the windows open and listened to the waves each night. Our girls loved playing on the BEAUTIFUL beach. We made fires on the beach and made s'mores nightly. Look no further!!! Thank you!!!

Hi Edie………just wanted to let you know how much we loved your townhouse and what a wonderful time we had. The townhouse was above and beyond what I had expected. The location is amazing and having that view really added to the experience.

The weather was good except we experienced some of the Tofino mist but that was ok, we were aware that goes on.

I must say I was so impressed by everyone who had dogs there. They were all very responsible and I saw no dog droppings either on the property or on the beach. Needless to say our little dog absolutely loved it being able to run free on the beach like that and socialize with the other dogs.

We had 12 hrs without power but it wasn’t a problem because it was from about 8pm at night to around 8am the next morning. All part of the experience. We took and excursion from Tofino to see the bears. We had never done that before and it was truly a delight.

Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your lovely home away from home and we look forward to returning.

Edie,
We had an amazing week in Tofino and we love your home there. We all agree that it was our best family holiday. The kids were thrilled with the triple bunk bed - such a whimsical and unique piece. My husband surfed every day and the kids did surfing lessons at Cox Bay. We biked every day along the beach with our dog racing along behind us and a kite tied to the back of my daughter's bike. We found we could spend endless hours at the beach - biking, kayaking, walking, beachcombing, playing games, reading etc. As a mother, it was the most relaxing family holiday I have had - no need for planning and organizing - everybody was content to enjoy Tofino Waves and Chesterman. We would love to go back to Tofino Waves - perhaps for one winter surfing trip and for a week next summer. We were so taken with the place that we were even looking at local real estate! If Tofino Waves or another unit in the development comes up for sale, we would love to know about it.
Thanks again for a wonderful experience. And when you get a chance, please let me know what's available for next summer!
