It is located; 3.5 miles from Seahurst Park, a 178 acre salt water park. 3.5 miles from the Museum of Flight. 5 miles to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). 7.5 miles to Safeco and Qwest fields the home to the Seattle Mariners and Seattle Seahawks. 7.8 miles to Seward Park the 300 acre freshwater park with swimming, hiking, bird watching and much more. 8 miles from the Seattle Waterfront including the Seattle Aquarium, Pike Place Market and antique shopping. 8.5 miles from heart of the Seattle Hospital district. 9 miles from Seattle Center including the Seattle Space Needle, the Pacific Science Center, Experience Music Project, IMAX and the Seattle Opera. 12 miles to the world renowned Woodland Park Zoo. The sleeping loft is also has a comfortable full size futon for 2 additional people. The pictures are accurate; sleeping in the quaint loft is like sleeping in grandma's remolded attic. The walls are angled and there is not much head room. However, there is plenty of space to sleep.

1950's charming cottage recently remodeled: This quaint cottage was recently remodeled top to bottom. It includes quality furnishings all the way around, from the living room furniture to the queen bed in the loft.

Fully stocked kitchen: The kitchen is fully stocked including pots, pan, dishes and eating and cooking utensils. There is a full size coffee pot as well as a full size microwave. Both the refrigerator and the stove/oven are small in size but both work well.

Outside: There are small wooden decks in the front and back of the house. There is a large yard with a small outdoor dining area and plenty of room to play a little catch.

Other Activities: Professional Baseball, Football, Soccer and Junior League Hockey

My parents and 14 year old niece needed a place to stay for a week while visiting me in Seattle, and this little cottage was the perfect solution! Very clean and quiet with everything a person might need for a short stay (comfy bed in a loft setting, nice seeting in the living room, free cable, and a clean kitchen)- and only minutes from downtown. The owner is very thoughtful and easy to contact, and my family couldn't have been more pleased with their little South Seattle retreat.
