Beautiful bright & sunny Victorian house in the village of Lake George. This beautiful four season Lake George, NY vacation home is located on a quiet residential block where you can be 'In the middle of everything or away from it all!' Perfect for large family gatherings. The open floor plan makes this home ideal for family reunions and holidays. Special features a beautiful wrap around porch and fully equipped country kitchen.

This home has a relaxed feel with comfortable seating throughout. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and comfortably sleeps 8. Immaculate, well furnished and equipped, hardwood floors throughout lower level and overhead ceiling fans in every room. Wi-Fi access is included.

A short 5 minute walk will bring you to the local sandy beach with lifeguards - perfect for families with small kids. Local bars, restaurants, amusement arcades, boating and parasailing, ice cream shops, bakery and grocery store are all only minutes walk away. Outlet shopping and 6 Flags Great Escape are a short hop skip and jump just down the road.

Gore & West Mountain are close by. Perfect location for skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing.

Dishwasher, washer & dryer on site. Back deck with gas grill. High chair, booster seats and pack-n-go's are available at no additional charge.

2 kayaks also available for use with rental.

$600 refundable security deposit required. Linens & towels are not provided. Additional photos avail. upon request.

My husband and I grew up in Ireland and the Adirondacks remind us a little of home. Beautiful countryside, rivers, and lakes. Loads of outdoor activities to keep everyone happy, no matter what the season. Commute is easy and only 2.5 hours door to door so its a great weekend escape for our family.

Fell in love with the house and it's beautiful wrap-around porch. Loved that I can walk to all the local amenities and activities, which is a complete change from where we live year round. Easy commute to vacation home. Close to Canadian border, Lake Placid, Saratoga Springs and Albany so its a good jumping off point for many locations.

What makes this house unique

5 minute walk to Lake George and Million Dollar Beach, Shepard's Park, ferry boats, public docks, grocery store, bars, restaurants, bakery, bank, library, ice cream shops, crazy golf, etc. Prospect Mountain is just behind our house and that's a great hike in both Summer and Winter. Loads of bike and hiking trails. 10 minute drive to both 6 Flags Great Escape Outdoor Amusement Park and Outlet stores. 30 minutes to Saratoga Springs and race track. 70 minute drive to Lake Placid. Plenty to do and see. Kayak in Lake George or drive 20 minutes to quiet Lake Luzerene for a motor boat free lake, perfect for beginner kayakers. Free fireworks displays & shows in the village each July & August.

We celebrated a 60th birthday at this beautiful Lake George home with our children and grand kids.It is a lovely home with all that you could ask for and a great location. Far enough away from the action and close enough to enjoy it when you chose.Lots of amenities and wonderful owners that made us feel right at home.We would love to stay here again when we return to Lake George.

We celebrated our 50 wedding anniversary at this home with our children and grandchildren. The porch was our favorite place especially with the nest with baby birds. Lovely place to read and enjoy our meals at home. The teen age grandchildren loved the fact that they could walk to town by themselves. The music and fireworks at the lakeside were great again we walked to them. Lots to see and do around the area. Boat rides, tubing on the river shopping etc. We didn't get to hike the trail at the back of the house mostly because it was so warm the week we were there. Maybe next time. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Location was great !, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants on Canada St. The house was quite roomy with a great front porch for relaxing in the evening. We rented during Americade and as close as the house is to the main street where all the action is, the noise from the motorcycle traffic was not an issue.
The house was nice and clean and definitely has character for a 100 year old house. I am looking forward to renting again next year if possible !
