Wildlife Viewing:
Duck Creek Retreat and the immediate surrounding area is rich in wildlife, including bison, elk, deer, moose, grizzly bear, black bear, otter, beaver, muskrat, Canadian geese, ducks, trumpter swan and sandhill cranes.
No Snowmobiles Are Allowed On The Property, Trailered Or Otherwise.
Fishing:
World class fishing is available on private Duck Creek Pond. A professionally installed fish ladder permits runs of wild brown and rainbow trout from the Madison River and nearby Hebgen Lake. Native brook trout also habitate the Pond and brown trout up to 32 inches have been caught and released. A Montana fishing license is not required to fish on the Pond, but it is everywhere else. A Yellowstone Park license is additionally required to fish in the Park

8 miles away the resort town of West Yellowstone, MT is the home of the world renown Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center, a sanctuary for wild grizzly bears and wolves. In addition, there is an IMAX Theater showing a film about the history of Yellowstone Park, as well as other features. West Yellowstone is internationally known as the flyfishing and snowmobile capital of the world, as well as the major vehicular entrance to Yellowstone National Park.
