This amazing 2500 sq. ft. floor through designer loft has been featured in countless magazines and on TV channels such as the Food Network. As a penthouse it has incredible light from 19 windows. A fully equipped kitchen. Home theater, wood burning stove. Jacuzzi tub in master bedroom. hardwood floors throughout. Keyed elevator access. Designed for four people, it can in a pinch sleep another two on extremely comfortable living room couches. Once outside everything is conveniently at hand-Great food shopping and restaurants, a pharmacy, green grocer and supermarket all within a hundred yards. The loft is within a block of a cross town bus and a constant flow of taxis coming up First Avenue. Jogging along the East River is a block away.

The Loft is at the heart of the Capital of the World for culture, art, fashion, music, finance. Some of the world's greatest museums are within walking distance. Not to speak of great restaurants and luxury shopping on Fifth Avenue or bargain shopping on the Lower East side. There is no ethnic food that can not be found within the confines of the city. The Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Ground Zero and the Circle Line bus and boat tours are on most visitors agendas.

Great food shopping, a pharmacy, cleaners, and good restaurants within a hundred yards. Quiet residential neighborhood within a block of crosstown and First Avenue bus. Walk. bicycle or jog along the East River also a block away.

Restaurants of all ethnicities are within short walking distance.

Mexican, Southwest ( next door ) Italian, Belgian, Japanese,

Thai. There is a kids playground two blocks away

Notes: For Smokers the roof top is just a short flight of stairs up from the loft and smoking is allowed there. Housekeeping services, including laundry, cleaning and cooking are available to Guests at a charge of $20. per hour ( 3hr. minimum )payable directly to the housekeeper. The loft is ideally meant for 4 person occupancy. Additional guests will be charged an additional $25. per guest per night.

Beautiful Rental, Great Neighbourhood

Absolutely stunning apartment that feels very special to stay in. Very nice owners who are generous with their home and who will offer lots of great advice beforehand on where to eat and what's good in the neighbourhood. Little details like quality white bed linen and soft towels really make the stay feel special.

The location is really good for exploring; the L subway is only a few blocks down and the walk to 23rd Street and Broadway (with the the Flatiron Building / Madison Square Garden) is an very interesting 10-15 minutes. The apartment is on a major thoroughfare and there are plenty of taxis to hail at all times of the day.

We struggled a bit to find the kind of bar we loved locally (like those in Soho and the Village) but that's because the neighbourhood is a bit more "real new york living" and is more family focused.

We'd recommend this to friends and would definitely stay again some time.

Great place to stay on the East Side

We spent 9 wonderful nights in this apartment in April 2011. It was a pleasure dealing with the owner, who was friendly, helpful and efficient. The apartment is truly special, spacious, stylish, the most comfortable beds and enticing sofas, good showers, brilliant kitchen, fully equipped (we love to buy local ingredients and cooked alot) and good advice about local grocery shopping and restaurants in easy walking distance. The subway isn't that close but that encouraged us to use the cross town buses: we ended up using buses to go up and down town too, much nicer than the subway anyway! I highly recommend this loft - the only thing we didn't like was having to leave....

Great place to stay

A very unique place to stay. You can just sit on one of the couches and enjoy all the light art objects and the many textures for hours. It is the top floor of the building and while it is not a tall building you have distance from all the occupied buildings nearby and so there is privacy. This is a great location South of midtown but not far to see times Square but close to East village and Soho as well. It is a longish walk but you need to go to Union Square farmers market on m/w/f and sat.

Perfect NYC Loft!

Me and my girlfriends stayed here over a long weekend in December and we could not have been happier with this loft! It was clean, organized, and VERY spacious. It has made me question why we have ever stayed in hotels! There is a litte grocery shop below the loft to stock up on whatever you need - so easy & conveinent. Directions from Daniel were spot on, and we got in to the loft with ease. It was always easy to find a cab/get around the city from the location. There are so many great spots around the loft - Gramercy Park was a 2 minute walk from the loft. The decor in the loft is so unique and beautiful and very inviting. All around, this was a great place to stay and we will definitely come back to stay here! Thanks Daniel!

Amazing Girls Weekend

We stayed here for a girls weekend/holiday shopping trip. The apartment was amazing. When you arrive to the 5th floor, you walk out into the apartment – so the entire 5th floor is yours. It is amazing. The décor is perfect. It just has a hip/cool feel to it. In addition to having the hip cool vibe, the place is so comfortable. The couches are huge/plush/comfortable. The bedding/pillows are amazing. The location is amazing - there are plenty of shops nearby so that you can stock the fridge with wine and other snacks. I absolutely hope to stay here again. Daniel was so easy to coordinate with. Everyone in our group loved the apartment!
