Alnwick cottage is situated approx 6 blocks from probably the prettiest main street in Canada. The cottage is quaint and comfortable. Consisting of 2 nicely decorated bedrooms both with double beds. Cozy living room, the kitchen is galley style with full size appliances plus all the extras coffee maker, microwave, toaster, electric kettle.

The lovely gardens are available for your enjoyment, barbecue on the gas barbecue, or lounge on the patio, a quiet nook is available under the apple tree for peaceful moments, reading or enjoying the many resident birds and squirrels.
We are surrounded by fruit orchards which adds to the tranquil setting. The yard is fenced perfect for children and pets.
All linens, towels, kitchen dishes, glasses, etc are supplied. Everything you could possibly need.
If anyone checks out google street views the house showing is 150 ft south of us,driving me crazy getting google to change it,what happened to our privacy.
We are the Sullivans, Pauline and Clair. We live on the property, which we find very convenient, problems, help with restaurant recommendations, even pet sitting have all been our pleasure to perform.
Pauline Sullivan purchased this cottage in 1979
We originally purchased 659 King Street, for its close proximity to Live theatre and a wonderful golf course. It was originally used by the family as 2 cottages, 1 for guests. After retiring we decided to live in the front cottage and rent the rear cottage as a vacation spot.
Stayed 3 nights in this wonderful little cottage. Pauline made us welcome right from arrival. Even Tikka our 120 lb Malamute enjoyed herself. Beautiful fenced yard. Tikka loves her new friend Pauline and her extra walks. Thanks again Pauline. Easy walk to shops. Fully equipped kitchen. Can't wait until warm weather comes again so we can go back and enjoy a glass of wine in the garden. Certainly recommend checking out this cottage.
Quaint little cottage just perfect for 2-4 people. Too many nice little touches to list. Excellent location just a short walk/ride to the center of town (and what a town it is!).
My friends and I just spent two nights at this lovely cottage over the Aug holiday weekend. NOTL is a busy town during the summer and this rental was just far enough away to provide some relaxing quiet but close enough to everything you may want to do.
You can connect with the recreation trail just up the street and cycle with the Niagara River on one side and wineries on the other - I recommend going as far as the Ice House Winery to enjoy their ice wine slushies.
After a day of cycling it was great to come back to the cottage and enjoy a glass of wine in the garden - which is beautiful.
The cottage is well equipped all you need to bring is your food and beverages. The screen porch was the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast or relax with a book.
I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to spend a few days in NOTL.
If you are going to Niagara on the Lake and looking for a cottage, this is the place. We took a weekend trip to celebrate a birthday and were completely comfortable here. Two full bedrooms, full bath, kitchen and huge carport area are all included. It was a rainy weekend so we didn't get to experience the back garden but it looked wonderful for nicer weather. It was close to all wineries as well as the downtown area of NOTL. Highly recommended.
We stayed at Alnwick Cottage while attending a wedding in Niagara on the Lake. Sometimes listing photos can be misleading, but this was not the case with this sweet cottage! The back yard and gardens are beautiful with lots of comfortable seating to enjoy watching the birds or just relaxing, and although the cottage is small, it is very comfortable and spotless! The best feature according to our dog was the huge screen sunroom.
This little gem is a wonderful place to stay while touring NOTL and the Falls. It is a serene, peaceful oasis on a convenient street in town. The cottage is attached to the owner's home, but retains a feel of complete privacy. There is a beautiful garden in back with many places to sit and watch a wide variety of birds. The living room has a large window overlooking the garden with no other buildings in sight. The cottage's inside living space is small, but there is a huge screened in carport with tables and chairs. The air conditioner in the bedroom is sufficient to cool the entire cottage (it was 88 degrees while we were there).
We enjoyed eating at Bistro 62 and at the NOTL golf course restaurant- latter has a beautiful view of the lake.
We would recommend this cottage for a couple or small family and hope to return soon.
