Enjoy the breathtaking views from this home including: sunrise, moonrise, expansive marsh, Sullivan’s Island and its lighthouse, the Charleston harbor, the Intra-coastal Waterway and Fort Sumter. These views can be seen from the covered and open deck, master bedroom/private deck, guest bedrooms, dining and kitchen. Enjoy watching the seabirds, ships and boats moving about the area. This fully furnished and comfortable home includes an eat-in kitchen, covered deck dining and a formal dining room, all with spectacular views. Also on the main floor, a den, with access to covered deck and open deck, a formal living area with grand piano, and a connecting formal dining room, foyer and half-bath. Great views! The house includes a stereo system with an i pod, MP3 docking system, DVD player with in and outdoor speakers. The upstairs has 4 bedrooms, three with the views. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, private bath, TV and an 8x8 private deck.

Bedroom one has a king-sized bed, private bath, TV and an 8x8 private deck. Bedrooms two and three- one with queen bed and one with two twin beds have the same view as the master bedroom. These two rooms share a modern remodeled bath accessed from the hall. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed, private bath and TV. The entire home is professionally decorated to embrace the low country featuring antique heart pine floors throughout. All of this is in 3,000 square feet of well planned living on a half-acre lot. The backyard is perfect for family entertaining with a private island feeling. It features an outdoor kitchen area, sink, fire pit, charcoal and gas grill, tables and chairs and an outdoor hot/cold shower. Oyster Roasts and Beaufort Stew gatherings -our favorites!! The 150 foot private dock is in an expanse of marsh to a tidal creek that is unbelievable.

The winding creek has miles of turns with access to the Charleston Harbor and waterway. Any vessel, less than 20’, can navigate and be moored at the dock overnight. So, bring your kayaks and motor boats and enjoy the creeks that run right in front of the house. If you have your captain's license talk to us about our 20' Edgewater Boat housed at Shem Creek. There are two wonderful parks minutes away, with miles of great biking and walking along the water front and the old village of Mount Pleasant. This house is conveniently located 2 minutes from Shem Creek with its famous restaurants and bars and 10 minutes from beaches, downtown Historic Charleston and Mt. Pleasant's open mall, Town Center.
