Coral Bay Vacation Rental villa

We just returned from our first trip to St. John, and spent our week at Barefoot. It is roomy for 2 people, with very new appliances and lovely decor. Since there were no reviews before we went, I'm going to answer the questions I had, after looking at this site: 1. The deck is AWESOME, wraps around the whole house with a beautiful ocean view. There is also a smaller deck off the upstairs bedroom that is perfect for stargazing. 2. The location: is very private, we hardly saw another human in the neighborhood. However, it is about 4 minutes from Miss Lucy's, the best restauarn in the area, and about 5 minutes from Shipwreck Landing, also good. The Lilys Market/Aqua Bistro/Crabbys Watersport complex is about 10 minutes away. In the other direction, 10 or 15 minutes gets you to Salt Pond Bay, Concordia Estates (The cafe has the best views on all of the island!!) and The Tourist Trap lunch spot (try the Grouper tacos) and other beaches/snorkel spots in that direction. Skinny legs and the East ENd are also close by.

The house is clean and well-maintained. The listing is accurate as far as the layout and amenities. I would recomend this place to ANYONE, I don't think there is a better value. We had a wonderful trip, and enjoyed starting every day with coffee on the deck, spending the late afternoon with a beverage and the view and ending the evening with stargazing after dinner.
