This lovely one bedroom apartment is located on the fourth floor of a 19th century building. The location, close to the 'place des Vosges' and the Picasso museum in the heart of the Marais neighborhood, makes this a pleasant and convenient base for exploring what Paris has to offer. As soon as you discovered the place, you'll enjoy the typically Parisian style of the furniture and decoration. The open dining / living room has a comfortable sofabed sleeping two, a flat screen TV, old style armchair and a dining table seating 4. The open kitchen has a large window and is well equipped with refrigerator, microwave, washing machine, toaster, coffee maker, kettle and all the cookware and dishes that are needed. There is also a desk with high speed Internet connection and a phone.

wonderful typical duplex

It's been the first time for me in paris and in a duplex. The apartment is quite big and very well equipped. The sofa bed was very comfortable and easy to use.
I was there with my family and this apartment was very suitable for 3 or 4 people.
I really appreciated the bedroom in duplex as it was nice to have it separate from the living room.
The location of this apartment is simply perfect as it is very central, at two setp from a metro and in a neighborhood full of shops, markets and good bakeries !

You can easily enjoy your stay in such a place, with a very affordable price...

Oe last thing, the owner are very nice and smiling...Very much appreciated!

Small appartment in the Marais district

The appartment is perfect located,few steps to buy all necessities,2 min walk to Metro,lots of restaurants nearby,Opera Bastille can be reached easily. The 'merci' Shop round the corner is a 'must-see' place!The check in/out was easy and friendly organised.The beds were clean and comfortable.
But the appartment itself wasn't clean at all! We avoided to walk on the carpet.There was no space for cloth,even the storage of our suitcases was difficult. The fridge wasn't clean either,don't to mention the dishes etc.The bath wasn't clean too.
For sure there was no cleaning before we arrived(and I don't think that there was one before that!)
The electric heating in the bath didn't work,the others became smelly once there went warm-we resist to use them!
It could be such a nice place but it definetly needs some renovation and cleaning!!
Owner's Response: I'm sorry that you had not a good impression of the apartment, tenants usually love this apartment, and I would ask you to accept our apology and take into account your notifications.

we will investigate about the cleaning of the apartment because before each arrival a house keeper comes to clean the apartment for 1 hour and sometime more and check that everything is perfect.

Concerning the carpet, we changed it since your stay and as you had certainly noticed , the mainly furniture was new since we have refurbished the apartment in 2009.

Regarding the smell from the electric heating, this is beyond our control, we have this smell only during the first used after summer and it disappeared after one day used.it should be your case (stay mid October).

Great deal!

This apartment was very good for people like us, who want to be in the centre of Paris, very close to amenities, transport etc.
Sapcious, luminous and clean, everything we required was respected.
The kitchen is well equipped, the queen size bed was comfortable and the sofa bed too !
The bathroom is a little bit small but that's perfectly ok for 3 people.

The location is perfect, with a shop around the corner and a metro at 1 in walk.

We really appreciated the welcoming of Christophe, very nice and funny!

I hope i'll be able to discover other place in Paris as well located as this one!

Nice one bedroom flat very typical

We went there with my family and what a surprised!

first, the apartment was really nice for a family as the queen size bed and the sofa bed were enough for 4 people.
Then, the kitchen, fully equipped, was very practical for cooking

We really enjoyed the area as it was in Le Marais, very close from wonderful markets, shops and metro station. Ideally located in a quiet neighborhood, we enjoyed famous location such as place and rue de bretagne, with its boulangerie and fromagerie exceptional !
The apartment was exactly as the website described it, and clean
and comfortable.

I hope i could come back soon for a much longer period !

quiet, nice appartement. Bedroom a bit too small, certainly needs some form of ventilation and/or a window. The bar more an obstacle than anything else and should be removed. Would make the place much spacier and the stove unfortunately only works on full. Kitchen equipment really needs a good thought with it's 20+ knives, no teacups, an odd collection of glasses etc. But still we liked it and thought it's a very charming appartement with a lot of (day) light
