Windy Point Cottage http://www.windypointcottage.com/ratesavailability.html is a place to relax and enjoy family, friends or to retreat for quiet time alone. The cottage is located directly on the Inland Waterway with a beautiful pier extending from the front yard. Some of the most gorgeous sunrises and sunsets can be seen from here. This home is a great place for adults and children of all ages.
This is a place that offers so much, you may never feel the need to explore much beyond the yard, waterway and pier. Fishing, crabbing and clamming are just some of the activities that have kept kids and adults entertained for hours at a time. There is a grill to cook your daily catch, pots for crabs and steamers and a fire pit to roast marshmallows! If this doesn't keep you busy, Holden Beach is only a 10 minute drive. There you will find sandy beaches, a fishing pier, boat & kayak rentals and a grocery store.
Please call Betty 978-604-1331or email email@example.com to inquire about rentals.
About Windy Point Cottage: The cottage was purchased in 1967 by Robert and Aurelia Mobbs. When 'Doc' moved our family North to Massachusetts, 'Meme' wanted to maintain a connection to North Carolina. They settled on this house because it was next to our aunt and uncle's summer home. This allowed us to spend many summers with extended family and friends. We hope that you are able to enjoy this home and build memories of your own.

Local Attractions: For the golfers in the family........'Players of Lockwood Folly Golf Course leave with an incredible memory of tree-lined fairways with massive oaks, stately pines, quiet ponds and abundant wildlife. Built upon a former hunting preserve, the golf course and community borders the Lockwood Folly River, the Intra-Coastal Waterway and is so close to the Atlantic Ocean that the roar of the surf often remains with golfers long after their round is completed.'
'This charming port city is located in the southeastern corner of North Carolina between the Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean. Although not just a tourist town, Wilmington has become a popular destination because of its moderate, four-season climate, historic preservation district, annual events such as Riverfest and the Azalea Festival, and numerous championship golf courses. In addition, nearby Wrightsville Beach is a Mecca for sailors, surfers, beachcombers and seafood lovers.'
