Lovely, comfortable, immaculate

I stayed here with a friend and our moms and my friend's sister over Xmas, and it was perfect! The house is clean and comfortable, located in a quiet, safe community, and stocked with everything you might need - beach towels, bikes, spices in the cupboard, dishes galore, etc. We did much of our cooking at home, but also enjoyed meals at the Keys Fisheries (stone crab claws), Blue Heaven in Key West, and the nearby 7 Mile Marina. We did some fishing in the canal, were visited by egrets and pelicans, went to Curry Hammock State Park (the thatch palm nature trail is a must), and Bahia Honda, watched the sunset every night, either from Key West or from the 12th St. park right in Key Colony Beach, and saw the Key deer on Big Pine Key. We really couldn't have asked for a better house or a better vacation. Fran was always very responsive to our questions, and we very much enjoyed the photo book on the coffee table that explained the history of the "little house in the Keys" and the family photos, etc. I sort of hate to rave so much because I want to think it'll be free the next time we want to visit, but I just can't say enough about this house, its location, and the amenities. What a treasure of a place. Thanks again, Fran!
