1st Floor Apartment No.11, set in the beautiful gardens of La Gardenia, Sol del Este. Boasting 2 Balconies overlooking the entrance to Harbor and Communal Pool respectively. 3 Bedrooms, recently modernized Bathroom and shower room. Well equipped Kitchen facilities, TV, DVD, CD and Satellite.

Within 15 minutes of Airport, the apartment area has 2 restaurants/bars and a supermarket.

5 minute walk from the pretty Harbor of Calas Fonts which has many restaurants, bars, night markets and shops.

5 minute walk from Es Castell which has a bank, further shopping and restaurants.

Apartment No. 11, La Gardenia is based in Sol de Este and is situated in a beautiful location that allows easy access to both the bustling town of Es Castell and the charming fishing port of Calas Fonts. Whilst only 10 mins drive from the airport the apartments are easily accessible whilst the area itself is free from aircraft noise intrusion

Mahon Harbour is the 2nd largest natural harbour in the world, boat trips and ferries are another option for viewing the island and the surrounding restaurants are sure to have some of the best fish on the island .The Island has a rich history dating back to the Napoleonic wars and this can still be seen and experienced today in what remains all of which accessible with a car with the island capital (Ciutadella) 40 mins away.

The island offers something for everyone with activities available for families, couples and individuals. These include, water sports, horse riding, historical locations, relaxing beaches and many more.

  • A 25% non-refundable deposit will be required along with completed booking form.

    Due to demand, particularly during the summer period, reservations can only be held for a maximum of 48 hours without confirmation of booking, after which the reservation will be canceled. It is also required that, unless specified, occupants are to leave the apartment 12:00 pm to allow for apartment cleaners and arrival of next rental occupants.

I would really like to keep this property a secret but that would be selfish. The location is perfect and the apartment is set in beautiful lush well kept gardens. The veiw towards the harbour is splendid as is the short coastal walk. The two refurbished bathrooms are lovely. The beds we used were comfortable and the apartment was very clean throughout. The property managers were on hand and friendly. The only improvement I would suggest is some comfortable arm chairs I think the present ones have had their day and most self catering apartments I've been in leave water & milk in the fridge which is very welcoming.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing
Owner's Response: We welcome comments regarding No 11 La Gardenia,having just returned from a short stay at the property we would like to advise all those who visited the apartment during 2011 that we are putting in place certain inprovements.
\when,hopefully you revisit during 2012 you will see that the older furniture will have been replaced a new window will be in the kitchen and the outer shutters at the rear balcony will also
have been replaced. This work will take place during the winter months so that the apartment
will have a fresh look for next season.
We look forward to receiving your bookings during the coming months and would advise

everyone that August 2012 has only 6 days open from17th to23rd.

La guardenia, Es Castell

This complex was in a teriffic location. The views were fabulous and the whole location was relaxing and friendly.

The complex was in easy reach of Cala Fons, where there is plenty of choice for eating out. There are a couple of handy cafes nearby the complex and a small super market which was useful for morning croissants freshly baked.

The apartment itself was reasonably comfortable, but needs up dating. It suits 4 adults very well ;six however was a bit of a squeeze.

Cutlery, crockery were rather disappointing; more glasses and mugs would be useful; although having a dishwasher was handy. A good sized fridge.
Garden furniture was very poor. It would have been good to seen sun beds being made available. It was rather a shame that the available chairs(old and in some cases dropping to bits) had to be carried up and down stairs and storage was difficult when they were in the apartment. Saying that it did not put us off the holiday.

Overall the apartment was clean and comfortable. Having been in other apartments whilst there we would look to book others for modernity and space.

We would recommend 'La Guardenia' to everyone for its location.

There was good contact with the owner and access to property good.
