We stayed three nights, very nice room . Perfect for my wife and I.all that you need is in the room. The people there were very helpful and nice.I would stay there again.
I stayed here to have a small housekeeping unit on the Park City side of the pass, to be close to open country and fishing, while only a 30 minute commute into Salt Lake for a professional meeting. Was more than worth the commute. Fishing was great and fall color at peak (get good advice at Jan's Outdoor experts, they'll sell you a license and flies). The studio was half of a larger suite and met my needs for cooking etc. just fine. Only a few minutes from downtown Park City.
Property was in nice shape. restaurants onsite were not open due to the season, I did not try any of the many spots nearby.
Unfortunately the wi-fi did not work for several days. The place is a labyrinth for the uninitiated, navigating between parking and the unit got me lost a few times. In a few days you get used to it.
Would like to bring the wife another time and ski.
Watch the strange faucets in the shower area--never seen any like them before.
We were extremely satisfied with our stay! The photos were spot on. The place was clean and well maintained. The room was very cozy but still seemed to have plenty of room for all of us (there was myself and 3 girls who were participating in a soccer tournament). We had a littel trouble with the DVD player, but the owner came out right away and took care of the issue. I was VERY impressed with the care the owner took took ensure that we had a great experience. I would highly recommend this resort as there was alot to keep guests entertained but the owner is the reason I would return.
I was impressed with the employees who run the property (not the hotel staff- who were also great,) yet I am referring to the folks who rent out the property. I left a bunch of our clothes in a garbage bag (yes, not a good choice,) and they were amazing how they went above and beyond to help me out. Great folks! Thanks! p.s. sorry I don't remember the date, so I'm guessing. Thanks
Golf: Park City and the surrounding communities host some of the finest Golf Courses in Utah--and the central Western States--with forested faiirways, red rock landscape, and spectacular mountain views. There are no less than 144 holes on 8 public courses, and an additional 144 holes on 8 private courses--making the Park City Area number one in golf-course per capita in the U.S. What Park City means to the snow skiers in the winter--it means the same to golfers in the summer. Moderate tempuratures, dry climate, lots of sunshine, and cool mornings make for a wonderful golf experience.
Ski: The Canyons Ski Resort is the 13th top rated ski resort in the US, with over 3,500 acres, 146 ski slopes, and the 'greatest snow in the world.' Ski lockers & ski valet offered by the Lodge at Westgate make it easy for visitors to access these wonderful ski slopes.
