About fifteen minutes to historic downtown Ellijay, Blue Ridge lake, the Toccoa river and the Cartecay river. About thirty minutes to the Ocoee river or Amicalola Falls State Park (Tallest water-falls in the Southeast!) There are several stocked mountain lakes within a short distance . The famous Benton-Mackaye trail, which intersects with the Appalachian trail is a short drive. There are also several horse-back riding tour facilities close to the cabin.
