It is conveniently located just 150' from the Homeowner's ski run (off the Goldlink/Painter Boy chairlifts).Ski in-out your back door, assuming there is enough snow early/late in the season and the Goldlink/Painter Boy lifts are open. Perfect for skiing in the Winter and hiking the Gunnison National Forrest right out your back door. Enjoy breathtaking 270 degree panoramic views from the large picture windows and decks. There is a living room for family gatherings with a woodburning fireplace, a separate game room with a pool table, and an indoor hot tub/steam shower.
Custom home:
On the main level are: #1-The bedding is a king in the master with a jacuzzi tub/shower.
#2- Two twins, with a trundle (own bath with shower). There is a queen sofabed in the living room. On the lower level: #3- Queen bedroom shares a bathroom (with tub/shower) with #4- Two sets of bunk beds with a trundle(sleeps 5). There is a sofabed in the downstairs game room as well. The loft-#5 has a small sitting area with a highspeed wireless computer for guest use. It also has two queen beds and two twins(Daybed), and a private bathroom (Shower).
High speed wireless internet:
car is needed to get to town. There is a 7 night minimum over Christmas/New Years and Spring Break. The rest of the year there is a 5 night minimum or a $200 housekeeping charge.
For those of you that need to stay in touch with business, there high-speed wireless internet available, along with an HP computer for guests to use, a printer and fax machine.
Ski:
The Gold Link Homeowner's Trail comes to Anthracite Rd. 1/4 mile up from the house. It is an
easy walk downhill to the house ( even carrying skiis) at the end of the day or ski downhill in the
mornings to the Gold Link chairlift (if you have already purchased your lift ticket- no ticket sales at
this lift). The Homeowners trail from the top of Gold Link is a BLUE INTERMEDIATE run, not
because it is steep, but the trail gets narrow and icy in spots late in the afternoon.
