Photos and Description of the Waikiki vacation condo rental 1 Bedroom upgraded Condominium with 1 Bathroom (Shower) & Sleeps 2-3

It is unique that after nearly 3 decades in vacation rentals that this condo has been noted in many well known travel books. The 'European Suite' was purchased back in 1984 and is going through it's 25th Silver Anniversary. Like many Waikiki condos it is located in an older (well maintained)building but unlike many other budget priced vacation rental condominiums we have continually 'UPGRADED' this condo as can be seen by the recent and detailed photos. Located in 'The Heart of Waikiki' on Nohonani Street many of our guests are 'Return Guests' who like not only our tropical courtyard, re-tiled pool and Gas Grill, but the perks of a well equiped kitchen and a condo where everything works and cleanliness is exceptional. Over the many years our guests refer to us as 'This is the Waikiki Beach style of living that we prefer' as compared to the less personal high rises which surround Nohonani Street. This upgraded Condo is located in the 'Heart of Waikiki'. This was one of the last areas of Waikiki to be developed around statehood time and is a favorite area of many returning guests who prefer the closeness to everything, but prefer lower rise buildings (we have steps and also an elevator (ADA)) and good peace and quiet. Over the last 3 decades I have been able to purchase and renovate this condo in the quieter location within the Hawaiian King. We have been told our condo is very quiet for being in such a good/central location and the guests can get a good nights sleep.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rates based on 1-2 persons. Extra person charges of $10 for each additional person.
  • High season rates apply from December to March and are approximately +$35/Day over low season rates for stay of 7 days+. Call or contact for our high season monthly special.

    Shorter stays can be reserved with a major credit card number with the card not being charged unless a cancellation occurs within our posted policy (see our homepage). for monthly stays we require a deposit of $250-$500 depending the season of the extended stay.
  • We do charge a condo cleaning fee of $75 and at check in time a $100 refundable key, sand and damage deposit is required for shorter stays.

    We do not believe in guests paying in full in advance for any period of stay. Normally a credit card that isn't charged will guarantee a condo on a shorter stay. An advance deposit from $250-$500 is required for monthly stays.

    A $100 cash refundable damage/key and sand deposit is required at check in for shorter stays

"This was our 5th stay at Winstons Waikiki Condos. We were celebrating our tenth wedding anniversary, and wanted something real special.
We have both found that our condo is always very clean and comfortable and that should there ever be a problem, a quick call to Pat or Mana will see the problem quickly resolved,
The condo has a fully equipped kitchen fully stocked with everything that you could possibly need, which we find very convenient, and the king size bed in the bedroom is very comfortable.
A separate living area which can be locked off from the bedroom is also a characteristic of the condo, Air conditioning and overhead ceiling fans help to maintain a comfortable room temperature.
There is a pool on site, although the condo is only a five minute walk to the beach. The Condos are situated in the middle of Waikiki and are only a few feet from shops and restaurants.
Pat and Mana are the perfect hosts, and we now regard them as our friends.
Don't be put off by the low cost, thinking that the accomodation is not up to a high standard - for it is, and always well maintained. You get a lot of space for your money. A lot of hotel rooms are much smaller.
The private lanai is a peaceful place to sit and take your breakfast in the morning, or to have a bedtime drink.
We would have no hesitation in recommending a Pat Winston Condo for that perfect Hawaiian vacation, and we look forward to a return trip next year.

Excellent condo with full amenities. Very clean accomodation and for an old fellow like me, very central to all locations and services in downtown Waikiki. I appreciate local bus service just steps away from front door.
After just my second stay with Pat and Mana, I value them as true friends.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: Yes, the good news about the bus system is that it is closely located on Kuhio Avenue about a 1 minute walk away, but because there is a building between our building and Kuhio and the condo is located on the Ala Wai side of the building you are buffeted from the noise (and there is a lot of noise in Waikiki). It is close, but as mentioned you do not get the street noise of the bus system and other traffic noise in this condo. A good night's sleep isn't that easy in many locations in Waikiki and should be a question asked and/or a consideration in making a reservation.

Pat does an excellent job of suppling his units with the necessities. We are going back for another month this winter. His condos are a reasonable value and better than many.

I love this place! I stayed here for a month when I first relocated to Hawaii. Pat and Mana were so nice and easy to work with. The location is ideal and the unit is so cute and nice! It's close to everything! You won't find a better place for the price and quality in this area! I highly recommend them!
