Located right in Winter Park, Wolf Park Townhomes is a tiny development surrounded by forest, so it feels like a friendly little village, not like a huge commercial condo complex.
Many things make our unit special:
- A large, outdoor hot tub on the second floor, in-floor radiant heating, and heated garage all replace the chill of winter with a glowing warmth!
- It's located at the end of the building, and laid out to maximize natural light
- None of the bedrooms share walls with each other or with the neighboring unit
- The most deck space of any unit in Wolf Park Townhomes (two large second-storey decks, both with views)
- The main living area is open and airy...perfect for socializing or relaxing; sleeping spaces are cozy and private, each with its own adjoining bathroom
- All furnishings and appliances are brand-new and upscale. In fact, it is so well equipped, that you really just need to bring your personal gear and effects (and don't forget swim suits)!
Wolf Park Townhomes has a lot to offer as well. During ski season, free shuttle buses stop right at the driveway to take you for a ten-minute drive to the base of the ski area. If you want to get away from it all, hundreds of miles of beautiful snowshoeing and cross-country skiing terrain begin right from the neighborhood.
In the summer, take a scenic bicycle ride to the resort, where you can enjoy a steady stream of festivals and other events. Or, stroll down a forested path to nearby Wolf Park, which features tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, a newly refurbished playground, and more. If mountain biking is your cup of tea, you can access hundreds of miles of singletrack right from the townhouse, including the extensive Winter Park Resort trail network, and the trails of the Fat Tire Classic.
All year round, enjoy the Winter Park shops and restaurants just a short walk away, as well as a plethora of all-season recreational activities in the national forests and wilderness areas just out the back door.

Joel and Carrie (and their daughters) live in Colorado Springs, and have a hard time deciding whether we like Winter Park more in the summer or in the winter! Co-Owner Bob has been friends with Joel since the mid-90s; he lives in Washington State, but gets out to Winter Park as often as he can.
It's been fun sharing a second home since we purchased our townhouse, but the surprise has been all the nice folks we've met through renting our place to others.

Wolf Park Townhomes has such an ideal location and a feeling of quality that it was an easy decision; it was even easy choosing our unit, because it was the brightest and airiest, and has all that extra balcony space. Winter Park has been our favorite place in the world to ski for many years so we already knew that's where we wanted to be.
It's great being able to walk to Wolf Park and to Winter Park's shops and restaurants, to ride to mountain biking trails instead of having to drive, and to hop the shuttle to come back from the ski slopes for lunch if we want to. We also love the forest atmosphere, and the small, friendly feel of the complex.
We love watching the trains from the large, second floor outdoor hot tub, and we enjoy the cozy, social atmosphere provided by the open floor plan and abundant windows. Having a full bathroom for each bedroom is HUGE too, the the in-floor heating is wonderful during ski season!
We've also really enjoyed getting to know our neighbors, who have become friends even outside of our interactions in Winter Park.
The owner was very responsive and everything was well coordinated for our stay. The unit worked out great. The unit was as described and very well maintained. We had plenty of space for the 6 of us, and the kitchen and large dinning room table was more then adequate space for meals. The ski bus to the base of winter park was very convenient as well. It was much easier than driving. The hot tub rocked. It was very nice to sit outside watching the alpenglow on the continental divide while recovering for a day of skiing. All in all I couldn't have been happier with our stay. Highly recommended. We'll be back!
We've stayed in lots of rental homes, and I can honestly say that this was one of my best experiences. The combination of the home, the owner, and the location made for a great vacation for our two families.
The first good thing was the owner. Joel was so helpful, generous and responsive, he is without a question the best owner I've ever dealt with. Even after there was a snafu with the USPS and our deposit, Joel held our reservation, even though he had many other requests. He was proactive with information, and very responsive when I had questions.
I think the house is perfect for two families (we had three older children). Best was a full bath for each of the three bedrooms, and even another half bath on the main floor. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, the entertainment center was good, and the fireplace was great. I particularly liked the dining room table - room for 8. The girls even watched New Year's fireworks from the hot tub!
I really liked the location of the home. It's really easy to take the bus to the ski resort, but we also found it easy to drive and park. It's so close to stores and restaurants, we could run out any time we needed anything. In my opinion, Winter Park is the most comfortable ski resort town we've stayed in. Lots of reasonably-priced restaurants and stores very close. It has a great local feel, which we liked. And not to ignore it, the skiing was excellent - good quality runs, lots of variety, good snow.

My family and I stayed this past weekend at the condo and it was fantastic. Having done Home Away with several other properties this is by far the cleanest and nicest one we have stayed in. The location is terrific. I highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a place to stay in Winterpark!
We had such a wonderful time staying here. It had everything you could possibly need for a great stay. The hot tub was amazing after a long day on the mountain. And it had great views behind it. The property was incredibly clean and updated. There is a brand new TV that had a USB port in it so we could easily connect our video camera to it and watch the footage we got that day on the mountain. There was also free wifi so I could catch up on "real life" when I needed to. There is a huge table that fit 8 people so we could enjoy dinners at home. The grill was really big and convenient. The townhouse is right in front of a shuttle stop so we didn't have to rent a car when we were in town. The shuttle service is amazing and was always on time! All around a great trip and will definitely come back when I hit up Winter Park again.
This townhome is the perfect place to stay when visiting Winter Park. Our family has stayed here multiple times over several years - and it will continue to be our first pick when heading up to Winter Park. Joel, the owner, is absolutely fabulous to work with. Our family of five has plenty of room to spread out, love the beds and bedding, the entertainment electronics are top notch, plus everyone has their own bathroom - very important when you're traveling with teenagers. The "ski bus" couldn't be more convenient - picks you up on the half hour at the end of the drive, just a very short walk. The kitchen is up to date and high end, stocked with all necessary cooking utensils, plus the entire townhome is superbly clean. And most importantly, the private hot tub is right out your back door! We're the envy of all the other guests staying in the Wolf Park complex while we enjoy the hot tub with the snow gently falling on us! Staying here is a "no brainer" when comtemplating where to stay in Winter Park.
Awesome place to stay, we loved it. From the moment we stepped it, the Westportal townhome far exceeded our expectations. It's bright, cheery and meticulously clean. Well maintained, with a nicely appointed kitchen Furnishings/decor are comfortable and top notch and make it feel like a home away from home. The private hottub was in perfect condition and it was such a treat to have easy access to it. The lighted tree/ trim was a thoughtful touch over our New Years stay. Joel, the owner, is extemely friendly and helpful. It's a great place and I'm glad we found it. I know we will definately go back.
