The typical Basque village is located 30km to the east of Biarritz away from tourist centres.
It is the perfect starting point for wonderful trips to the sea and the mountains, in the lovely back-country with its picturesque villages and to attractive towns like Bayonne, Saint Jean de Luz, Bordeaux or San Sebastian, Pamplona and Bilbao.
It takes only 25 minutes to reach the splendid beaches at the coast. In the centre of Bardos there are 2 restaurants, a bakery, a butcher, 2 supermarkets and a post office. In the nearby surrounding you will find a lot more shopping facilities, also on traditional markets, which offer lots of delightful regional delicacies.
For your journey there are attractive low cost flight connections to Biarritz, Pau, Bilbao, Bordeaux or Toulouse offered by Ryan Air, easyjet or Airlingus. The airlines also offer special rates for car rentals.
